“I tried out Bua on the Upper East Side, and I'm so glad I went because everything for me was phenomenal. The food and drinks were both excellent, service was quick, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting. They have a spacious outdoor area which is nice, as you get some good outdoor views. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating with all customer needs and food allergies/dietary restrictions. I think there is something in the NYC air!They have very limited seating but offer a huge menu !We tried their dumpling soup which was really tasty and the dumplings were so soft and good !Also had the Thai Basil Minced Chicken with rice , Warning ! “Very satisfied with the taste and portion size of Thai takeout from Thonglor, which may have gotten a new owner or chef since the old Red Basil? Green curry is tasty and includes nice large chunks of eggplant and bamboo shoots. Noodle dishes like pad kee mao and pad see ew have generous portion of noodles. We normally order from Pochana but have a new favorite in Thonglor, which costs slightly more but you definitely get a larger portion and good quality in return.“
“Ordered delivery from here. Food arrived still warm, Thai iced tea cold refreshing but not too sweet. I had the Pad Kee Mao with chicken lunch special, which comes with spring rolls as appetizer. The noodles were cooked perfectly, chewy with just enough bite, saucy and spicy. Chicken was tender and there were plenty of veggies in addition to egg. The spring rolls were good, crunchy and come with dipping sauce. I also tried the crab Rangoon, a bit high on the crab: cheese ratio but still tasty.
