“I’ve been coming here from when I used to go to Tenafly Middle school. This place was my go to for after school snack.
Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.

“Chris was our waiter today. We came in with my wife’s 100 year old grandfather and 99 year old Grandmother on her birthday. They are from Shanghai. Chris immediately knew to bring kids waters, 2 hot waters for the grandparents and 2 regular waters for myself and my wife. Service was fast and accurate. The food soup base was perfect and the food was very fresh with great portions. The ice cream for grandma’s 99th birthday was a great touch. We look forward to coming back again.“

“Came here on NYE for a delicious dinner with my wife. The waiter recommended the picanha. It was delicious. We had some apps and a salad too. It was all terrific. We brought our own wine. They even gave us a dessert on the house. My wife is Dominican, so she was speak Spanish with the staff and other customers. Very inviting and friendly place. Will definitely return. “Luke's Lobster on the Upper West Side is a fantastic spot for fresh, quality seafood in a casual and enjoyable setting. The lobster rolls are the real deal — generous, flavorful, and worth every penny. The atmosphere has that relaxed New England seafood shack charm that works perfectly for the concept. Service was a bit inconsistent and could be more attentive, but it didn't take away too much from an otherwise great experience. A go-to for lobster rolls in the neighborhood.“

During certain time periods, I eat mainly vegetarian and need to go to restaurant or local food locations that authentically understand my dietary need. The channa masala and idli sambar are two of my favorites from here. It's vegetarian and delicious. If I am eating non-veg, I enjoy the Lamb Rogan Josh with basmati rice from time to time. I often enjoy fresh made Chai from here is the early mornings on my long office days.“

“We were in the area and wanted some Chinese food, so we looked around the area and saw that this was one of the higher-rated places. I also noticed that they only take cash and do phone orders. We called on the phone, placed our order, then made our way over. We paid in cash and got the food. I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination platter, which comes with a roast pork egg roll and roast pork fried rice. We also got a small wonton soup. The boneless spare ribs were really good, striking a good balance between the sweet and savory that boneless spare ribs typically have. The roast pork egg roll was delicious and savory. Everything else, though, was not as good. The roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, as were the wontons and the broth that the wontons came with. For the price, though, it was reasonable, so I am not too upset.“

“My last visit to Elsa La Reina del Chicharrón was nothing short of amazing. Elsa truly lives up to her name the queen of chicharrón! perfectly seasoned pork, and the flavor doesn’t disappoint. The chicharrón was crispy, juicy, and full of that authentic sazón that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city.

You can tell everything is made with love and pride. The service was friendly, fast, and made me feel like family. If you’re in New York and haven’t been to Elsa yet, you’re seriously missing out. She’s simply the best nobody does it like Elsa!“

“I have not found many Chinese restaurants beyond Chinatown that's considered close to being called good until I tried this one. I only ever ordered delivery because my brother is living at a Senior Rehabilitation center on W190 st. I was surprised to find the Chicken and Broccoli not drenched in oil or overcooked! It's not salty or full of MSG like other typical Take outs. Everything I ordered showed a true experienced cook. No lumpy gelatinous "gravy" although I always make it a point to ask for little gravy and they actually followed my request! I don't ever judge a Chinese restaurant by its decor. Some of the BEST ethnic foods I've had, we less than inviting. I get why they do not bother w the "atmosphere" but focused on good food. I get that it would be nice to be able to enjoy going there if you are a long time patron but I used to love a place called Peking Duck in Chinatown until they moved to a new space and changed to an upscale look and soon the food was not at all the same. Perhaps the chef left but I still missed the dishes they used to make to perfection. So don't fix what's not broken. If this is the only Chinese restaurant near you count your lucky stars bc they do authentic Chinese cooking.“

“I I visited Olive Garden for the first time it was on the list and did go last week for dinner. The portion quantities are good to fill up the stomach and I’m too full by the end of my meal and couldn’t finish it. I think the price that we are putting the quantities will be justified. I like the wine as an old wooden barn with cool theme. Overall it was a good experience and might return also. Would recommend to someone who is looking for a barn style or country style environment for your dinner, then this is something you can consider.“

“Quick takeout of Wonton Soup and Kung Pao Chicken. Wontons were fresh and the soup base was clean and tasty. The Kung Pao Chicken was a nice sliced chicken and the sauce had a good consistency and level of spice. Brown rice seemed fresh as well. Service is quick, parking right in front. Cash only.“

For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day.
