“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We LOVE this place. My partner and I were visiting NYC for our Babymoon and had heard Florentin was delicious, but we were blown away. Not only was the food fantastic (we had steak frites), the service was impeccable. Sammy was an incredible host that made our night even more enjoyable!! He was welcoming, fun, and generous. As my partner and I were celebrating, he made us feel so special and taken care of by providing us with mint tea & tiramisu that was to DIE FOR. “The pita chips were really good easily the best bit would go back just for those. The rice bowl was just ok though. I got half grilled chicken half falafel and the spicy jalapeno sauce with a bunch of veggies. Everything was just a bit bland no spice what so ever“

“A lovely small place in west village.

The octopus from the appetizers was quite a good portion and was cooked perfectly.
The beet salad was a no for me. I felt like it was cut too small and a bit overdressed, so I couldn’t really taste it.

They also have a good wine selection, so I may come again for that octopus and another glass.“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“

“We ended up at this shop almost by accident because my wife doesn’t use TripAdvisor—she uses NoseAdvisor, which may be the best advisor of all!

We had no idea what to expect. We live in France, so we’re used to those triangular-shaped pastries filled with spinach or whatever, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover this place.

The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. The young woman who served us was brand new, so she was understandably a little inexperienced, but everyone was very nice.

I did read some reviews mentioning that the line can be extremely disorganized and slow—and that is definitely true! We were getting increasingly impatient because we were very hungry. But there’s a reason it takes time: they prepare all the accompaniments—the eggs, pickles, spices, and various other side dishes—freshly.

And in the end, the food was extremely good. We really loved it and thought we had made a great discovery. I even asked family members who live in Manhattan about the place, and they all knew it and confirmed that the food is excellent.

So, be prepared for a somewhat chaotic line and a long wait. But sometimes it’s worth waiting for a good thing. We would definitely come back!“

“We originally wanted to dine at Salma, but since it was full, the team kindly walked us over to their sister restaurant, Fattoush, and we’re so glad they did.
The restaurant has a lovely, homely atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The shrimp appetizer was absolutely top-class, perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The muhammara was also delicious with just the right amount of kick. The only dish that didn’t quite stand out for us was the chicken shawarma.
A huge shout-out to the wonderful woman serving the entire restaurant by herself. She was incredibly efficient, attentive, and kept everything running seamlessly despite managing it all alone. Her warmth and hard work made the experience even more enjoyable.

The sheep milk starter as well as the truffle corn dish was delicious. The lemon tagliatelle main is also great!

I went there for dinner Friday night, with my friends to celebrate my birthday - everyone working there made such an effort. I really appreciated the birthday dessert and candle.

All the staff were beyond friendly and warm, from the hostesses to our waiter. Thank you all!

“Where do I even begin? The pita? Perfect texture and taste. The cherry tomatoes? Obviously fresh, juicy, and sourced from a great farm. The romain? Plentiful and CRISP. The Dill and Taziki sauce? Also VERY fresh, has a citrus kick somewhere, and seems to be made fresh as well. Because it doesn't taste like a store bought sauce filled with preservatives. The hummus? That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! Moderate prices, exceptional ingredients, lovely staff, and clean facilities(where the staff actually care like the NW Expressway location in OKC). I'm out, ty for listening to my Ted talk! 🫡“
