“Have only had their baked goods and breads at Riverwards previously which are all excellent. Beautiful space, bustling kitchen and really good coffee and food. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich it's HUGE, crisp bacon ??could easily share and save room for a laminated pastry of sorts.However, it's small, tables are packed in and yet there's an endless stream of oversized, empty strollers for 5-7yr olds who last time I checked have legs and can walk independently and those feral children are screaming, banging on the glass pastry cases, and running all over the place bumping into food runners and their parents do nothing. Most aren't even buying anything but a juice and maybe a drip coffee. It's a shame as the place is really cute but I can't stand it being overrun by clueless parents with ill behaved children.Parking: On a narrow street, VERY limited parking in this area“

“I was very confused when I 1st walked in what looked like an office building only to find Darnel's tucked away in the corner. What a pleasant surprise this place was. I came across them after they were on Good Morning America in a national competition for best breakfast sandwich. That's all I needed to hear to try it and I definitely wasn't disappointed. As you can see I couldn't even wait to bite into it before taking a pic! They even give you the option to order biscuits separately which I've don't on many occasions. MUST TRY!“

“The baked goods are SO FRESH we came in at 10 am and got the ham and egg, taro bun, pork bun, danish, and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was so tasty the pork buns and taro buns are the best thing!! Id have an idea of what you want before you go in, theres a lot of options and its a bit of a tight space that gets crowded easily. Pineapple bun isn’t filled I think fyi. Bring cash if you can its just easier and probably cheaper.“

All I can say is no matter your distance, it's worth the trip for this place. I am ~35 mins away and I will go the distance. “We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

“The BEST cream filled doughnuts I have ever had. The filling itself is light and creamy with just the right amount of sweet. The texture of the doughnut was exceptionally well done as well. The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. Not as heavy and crispy as I like a fritter though.Choosing from 2 cases of minimum 30 doughnut 0 do not recommend.Eating any variety of doughnut they have: 10/10 would recommend going every day for 2 weeks to try them all and enjoy favorites. “Very nice hidden gem for a coffee or tea stop. The coffee was great. To be honest the tea was ok. So if I may give the very nice owners a suggestion; choose for very good teas like Damman or Rishi (e.g.). Then also for tea drinkers (or mixed couple as we) they will be even more worth wile to go. And btw; one teabag is probably enough. They also have some pastries, pancakes and panini. Very nice interior with lovely background music. “I’ve gone in twice for birthday cakes. I’m horribly last-minute, but luckily they always have already-made birthday cakes for sale which are DELICIOUS. They’re super flavorful without being too much, and they’re beautiful to look at. Plus they can write a message on the cake very quickly. I’m a fan!“

“I had an amazing trip to Philadelphia for the first time. To end the trip I decided to have dessert at Sweer T's bakery. The owner was very friendly and give me the history of the bakery and gaining access to the crowds at Reading Terminal. My favorite pie has always been the sweet potato pie. I tried his pie and quickly realized he added a twist to the pie I'm use to eating. His crust was made from graham crackers, though different it added to the amazing taste of the pie. I'm sure the rest of the desserts are also amazing. If you are in the Philadelphia area, you must give this place a try.“

“We visited The Sweet Life at the recommendation of a friend to try the banana pudding. We ordered the regular banana pudding, salted caramel banana pudding, and a vegan cupcake. The puddings were to die for! The cake part of the cupcake was delicious but the frosting was very hard and had no flavor. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful, even though the shop was busy. I would still recommend this little shop for desserts :)“

Once inside you took a number and waited eagerly for your number to be called. The display cases were clean and fully stocked with an assortment of baked goods. “SO Good!! Lost Bread is a bakery and mill in Philadelphia. I found their table at the entrance to the Schuylkill River Park. The table is unassuming, yet filled with so much. “Given the number of various establishments at this location that have come and gone over the last few decades, the fact that Vibrant has now been here well over two years speaks for itself. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood was relatively coffee-free for years, and thankfully several places have popped up recently. This is the best of the lot. Coffees and baked goods are consistently excellent. Baristas are usually pleasant. Unless money isn’t a concern for you, however, be advised that a regular plain coffee is around $4, and prices go up from there, so Vibrant is not the best place to frequent often. The space itself is pretty tiny, there’s no real room to sit inside, which leads to lines out the door every weekend morning and when there’s an event going on in the Square. There are some small tables outside the entrance on Locust Street. That’s it, so by necessity business is mostly takeout. Worth it for an occasional treat/splurge.“

“I hosted my wife's surprise 40th birthday party at a restaurant near Chloe's Creme Puffs, right in Pitman. It worked out where I set up pickup an hour prior to the surprise. I ordered 50 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, as well as a red velvet cake. They did an excellent job decorating everything to match. All the locals were surprised to find out Chloe's did more than just creme puffs. Cupcakes can be hit or miss, but the texture and icing were enjoyed by all. It all was delicious and we were all digging into the leftovers after the party. Thanks to Chloe's for making my wife's birthday special.“

“SERIOUSLY good espresso on Penn’s campus. I take my espresso very seriously and this place does too. The baristas prep the espresso really well and the lattes, cortados, and cappuccinos are smooth, delicious, and flavorful. I recommend every coffee lover come here for a good drink and studying. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful.I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. “My husband has celiac but was also insisting that we have a wedding cake for us to cut at our wedding. None of the Italian bakeries in Philadelphia offer GF so I looked around for other bakeries and found High Fidelity. I stopped in one day to see if they could make a custom cake for us — not only did they do that with only a weeks notice but the cake turned out beautiful and absolutely delicious! Brady and Janette were incredibly kind and helpful and we can’t wait to try everything else they make!“
