“I stop several times each week on my way home from work. They are very polite to me. They greet me by name when I approach the counter. They're quick, and I've never had an issue with my order. For the commenters who mentioned race, I am a white guy with blue eyes and a beard. They have never been rude to me. “It’s places like this that make me love Philly! This quaint, locally-owned coffee shop is hands down one of the best I’ve been to.

I tried their seasonal German Toffee Latte, and it did not disappoint! The chocolate-chip cookie, topped with sea salt, and the chocolate croissant were both incredible—perfectly balanced sweetness.

“Such a cute spot with amazing coffee! I have grabbed to go coffee from here quite a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Anything from drip to a cappuccino has been amazing. It is a little bit on the pricier side but the tip is included and the staff is always nice (I don’t mind paying extra for quality coffee)!
The space is quite small (2-3 tables) so I would recommend taking to go unless you’re lucky enough to snag a table (it is full particularly in the mornings). I can tell there are dedicated regulars who go here and I can see why!“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. “Came for espresso and sat at the espresso bar. All the gentlemen at the bar were pleasant to chat with. The espresso tasted great. It’s roasted in house and the quality of the espresso machine makes the 5 star quality beverage. True Italian experience.“

Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“Great corner cafe. Craving crepe? You can get it here. Craving unique coffee? You can get it here. Try the lavender latte, it’s delicious. Try the pistachio banana crepe, fresh bananas, not sickly pistachio spread and good size. Only negative - crepe was a little dry. Overall I did not feel terrible after eating it.

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in NoLibs. We discovered it over a year ago and have been going at least once a week ever since. I rarely get matcha out because so few places actually use good quality matcha and make it properly, but CNT does all of the above. They have monthly rotating flavor specials for coffee and matcha that are always incredible and made from scratch. The shop is also super dog friendly and our pup literally drags us down the street to go there anytime we are nearby.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

We sat outside in a morning of summer, but it was super good and windy. They have a large options to eat and each picture makes our choices more difficult.
The food was great (panini caprese and prosciutto croissants).

“The food here is delicious, however, there is often not much of a selection. I understand that they want everything to be fresh and maybe they are still trying to figure out how much of certain items to make, but the last time I was there they had no biscuits (after they didn't have them last time I stopped either) so they offered us brioche, which we accepted. Then they only made one sandwich after we had waited 15 minutes. We left since we didn't have time to wait for them to make another. Then today I stop to pick up just plain biscuits to take home and as I'm at the counter waiting to order, someone calls the cafe and buys the last two biscuits over the phone. The coffee is very good, we like the cold brew, vanilla latte and cortado. Plus the biscuits are amazing if you manage to get some. They do make very good miniature pastel de nata as well, which you can't get just anywhere. Overall the cafe is good, maybe it's just going through growing pains.“

We just happened upon a tiktok where she said “happy friyay get on down here and get coffee.” Yes maam lol. We drove down from Philly and it was absolutely worth the drive. What a beautiful cafe!! All the little touches and flowers made it such a fun atmosphere. I got the spooky flight which delightfully on theme. The box was literally smoking like a haunted graveyard lol. My sister got the latte flight. We both LOVED our drinks. The staff is so kind and wonderful. The young lady that took our order was a gem! Everyone in there seemed to be having such a good time. Shout out to the team for making my our hooky day from work a blast!“

“Had the Spring Fling coffee today, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Never have I had coffee like this. It was robust but mild, with hints of lavender, thyme and pink peppercorns. Absolutely a must have for those that go regularly. I live in NJ so sadly I won’t be here often and I’m sad about that.“
