The bartender Patrick made the most delicious espresso martinis I’ve had to so far anywhere. The chicken parm took up the entire plate and the chicken carbonara tasted other-worldly! “This was one of our most memorable dinners of 2025 so far — everything we ordered was delicious.

We started with the marinated tomatoes with stracciatella and the focaccia, then had the Thai basil tagliatelle with crab and the breaded pork chop as mains, and finished with the corn brûlée and blueberry pâte à choux for dessert.

The marinated tomatoes with the focaccia were an excellent pairing, and the tagliatelle was a surprisingly delightful fusion — spicy, flavorful, and very well balanced. The pork chop was excellent too: juicy and flavorful, though slightly undercooked near the bone. The corn brûlée was fantastic, while the pâte à choux was the only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark.

Overall, the food was outstanding and the space was very cozy. Our only wish was for slightly better ventilation in the restaurant, but otherwise, it was an amazing dining experience.“

“This is our first time to Philadelphia and we are big Stallone/Rocky fans so we were excited to try this restaurant where some of Rocky Balboa and Creed was filmed. The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

The fried calamari was cooked perfectly and the marinara sauce was delicious. My husband enjoyed the salmon and fiussile dish which was a very generous portion. Zuppe de pesce was chuck full of a good variety of seafood and a lot of spaghetti. The tiramisu was delicious. The gratis red wine was mediocre.“

“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. We have been there two other times and have had the same waitress. The daughter of the owner (Jsut another plus). She is bubbly and kind and makes sure everyone has a great time. We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. “We found this gem of an Italian deli in Ridley Park, less than a mile off the Delaware Expressway.

My husband ordered the “Old World”, a fresh baked roll piled high with meats, cheeses, and Italian spices. I had a sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast, fresh Mozzarella and roasted red peppers. And yes, it really was that good.
