“We stopped in for dinner and drinks.. They Did Not Disappoint! The customer service was amazing! We had Emily and she was super sweet, she keep checking to make sure we were okay and just made everything even more awesome. Our food .... I wanted to go back the next day! It was absolutely delicious. The appetizers just were the roll of red carpet greatness! Everything tasted great and left you wanting more. Everything has the fire grilled taste, and we had leftovers! I loved the drink menu! They had seasonal drinks and a bunch of cool cocktail drinks to order, i tried a few and they were all really good! But there is something about their espresso martini.... lol give me another! The bartender was on point!! Didn't get his name but I hope he's making my drinks when I get back there!“

“Our first time at Bistro Romano and won't be our last. Romantic, quiet and dark with a piano playing softly in the distance. Service is great and food is delicious, especially the Caesar salad. Lobster ravioli was lightly sauced, with plenty of lobster and tender pasta. My partner ordered the strip steak, which he said was ok but I thought it was pretty good. Warm olives, a first for me, was good but more than I could eat by myself. I'd like to try other options on the menu but Caesar salad will be on repeat.“

Now live in Key West for last 30 years but specifically make sure each time I come up to see family I go to Villa Di Roma, clams casino, asparagus, gravy and the people there that run it all family. Amazing piece of the food history of the Italian market that is a must try anytime.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! “We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here, everything was great . We Had Taylor , who did everything, she was by herself, due to someone calling out . She severed over 30 people from Appetizers to dessert all with a smile . She helped set everything up and was amazing . Great food and atmosphere! “This is a very nice small BYOB Italian restaurant in the Fish town area. The food and service were exceptional. Love all the dishes we ordered. The prosciutto, focaccia and marinated tomatoes were all, excellent as starters. The Spaghetti pomodoro was perfectly cooked, especially the spaghetti. Claim linguine was cook to perfection and the claim was so fresh. The fried chicken Caesar salad was so good. Highly recommend to try.“

We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. i’ve been here numerous times with different parties and i’ve always had a great experience. it’s also one of the few restaurants I can consistently get in with a last-minute reservation or walk-in while still feeling the place is lively and bumping every time I’m there. it’s a delicate balance and they nail it consistently. chef Michael’s food is excellent, bev director Michael has put together an awesome program and chef Ervis is such a handsome and gentle man who also happens to make great pastas. what a combo.

“Buca D'Oro is one of our favorite restaurants in Philly. It's Italian fare is "light" as opposed to the heavier Italian dishes that are commonplace throughout the city. From Appetizers to Entrees to Deserts, the dishes are delicious. Wines are also very good and reasonably priced.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Nunzio’s this evening for a work gathering. Every course was excellent! I cannot wait to bring my family back. The food was fresh and delicious.“

“The homemade pasta is really excellent. The texture was perfectly toothsome. I got the cacio e pepperoncini (vegan option) and it was quite good, though the sauce wasn’t my favorite. It felt very oily and I’m not sure if that’s a product of veganizing the sauce. I loved the tangy spice of the pepperoncini though.

The shishito peppers were good, but fairly standard blistered peppers like I’ve had at many other restaurants. The almond / mint sauce was quite nice though.

The plates are generously portioned.
