“Solid stuff. The buffalo wings are exactly what you want with some good heat attached. The crab cheddar biscuits were soft and had great flavor. Really enjoyed both. No frills caesar salad did not disappoint, either.

I go to the craft shows near the train station every so often and always wondered what the best local food spot is, and I think I found it. Will be back in the future to explore the menu.“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. “I am a frequent visitor here. Sometimes I go for a solo lunch, sometimes I bring my child or go with friends. It is family friendly. Best vibes in the Summer when you can sit outside and enjoy good weather. Extensive and descriptive wine menu which I love. They can prepare off menu traditional Italian dishes for you if they have the ingredients. I felt for a simple spaghetti pomodoro and my request was granted. I like their salads. The grilled shrimp has a beautiful smoked flavor as if it is fresh off the brick grill - my favorite! On one visit, the manager allowed me to sample several wines - I felt really catered to. Lunch dining is my favorite period to visit here.“

“Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. “We dined in. Three people. Ordered two main items, soda, and a cocktail. $100+tip. Food took one hour to arrive.Food was OK. There was only one server, very friendly but it was very hard to get their attention before or after food arrived.
I love neighborhood places and would support them fully but I am not sure how pricey they should be and how much service should I expect, with or without this pricetag.“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “Went here for my husband’s birthday, and man, did they make it special! The waiter Marcos was so kind and attentive. Food was incredible, restaurant was clean and quiet, and the service was as boujee as you’d expect lol. A little overpriced of course, but you’re paying for quality and the boujee experience.
