“We were here several nights in a row during a work event, it was definitely the popular spot amongst my colleagues. I did not try any of their food, but they had an OK beer selection for a hotel bar, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. The outside space with multiple fire pits was really awesome too, gave us some options.“

“First time trying this place and had the Ultimate Chilaquiles. Rib eye was cooked great and seasoned well. The beans were amazing and the coffee was great. Service from our waitress Rafaela was great. Had the Churros with ice cream for dessert and was amazing. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Oh I'm not a fan of the Chilaquiles as a whole but they where good.“

“Really nice tortilleria.
The food is fresh, had to wait 5 minutes for it to cool down.
It was very delicious, definitely some of the best tacos and flautas I’ve ever had.
The market inside is cool, you can pick up some goodies like chips and sweets too!
Huge drink assortment, with real cane sugar.“

“The absolute BEST huevos rancheros I’ve had in a very long time. Complemented by smashed roasted potatoes that I’ve never had before. Everything was excellent. We complimented the waitress on the food and the sous chef Jordan came out and greeted us. with a huge smile. Will definitely be coming back and everyone we know will hear about it.“

“I’ve eaten at almost all the Sanchez locations and I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 6 years and believe me when I say that this location is the best. The ingredients are always fresh and it’s prepared quick and you can’t get better food from a truck in bernalillo. I’ve been getting the asada quesadilla at least twice a week for the past two months. 10/10 highly recommend!“

“My favorite bar in New Mexico. Simple menu with great Mexican food that incorporates hatch chiles whenever possible. Definitely try a sopaipilla or five. And a very knowledgeable proprietor behind the bar who can guide any customers interested in the more rare distilled spirits and delicious libations.“

“The restaurant is as beautiful as it is historic. It opened in 1972 and you can tell it’s a landmark. There’s a huge wall of fame as you enter the door with pictures of everyone from Mick Jagger to Lil Wayne.
It was a great day so we sat outside and it was fantastic, even with the honey bees circling for a shot at some of that delicious honey.
The food was great and the beans were well flavored. I mean the beans have to be great at a restaurant called El Pinto right? I had the combo plate #1 and my girl had the ribs. Both were delicious. Even the chips and salsa at the beginning was on point and the salsa had a nice kick.
The staff was super friendly and explained what I didn’t understand which was what’s the difference between mild and hot 🔥“

“My husband, daughter and I enjoy Filibertos. Especially the taquitos on Mondays. I decided to try a carne adovada chimichanga this time. I asked for no Pico de Gallo (I can't eat onions.) Unfortunately there was Pico throughout the meat in the chimi as well as underneath. Thank goodness I ordered extra taquitos! My husband had a meal for another day, but definitely disappointing for me. Other than that, food was good.“

“Located in the middle of a small shopping center just off Highway 550, the Bernalillo Twisters Cafe may not impress with its ordinary fast-food joint aesthetics, but what it lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for in its delightful New Mexican cuisine.
One of several Twisters locations dotting the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Bernalillo area, this cafe is a short 10-minute walk from the Rail Runner station. Upon entering, you're greeted by a friendly and attentive cashier/server who often engages in banter with the local townspeople, calling them by name. This camaraderie is a testament to the establishment's popularity among the locals.
My recommendation? Try the carne adovada burrito smothered in red chile sauce. The generous portion, almost a foot in length, is a flavorful masterpiece that will leave you in awe. Each bite is a burst of authentic Northern New Mexico flavors, making you realize that this is how real New Mexican food should taste. While the chile is classified as mild, it packs a punch for those unaccustomed to the spicy heat of New Mexico cuisine.
Although all Twisters cafes uphold the same quality of food, the Bernalillo location holds a special place in many hearts due to its cozy, community ambiance. The counter person's genuine concern for my dining experience, asking if everything was alright, was met with a wide grin and an honest assurance that the food was truly fantastic.“

“Come to eat here quite often, usually pretty good. Last night ordered green chile stew which lacked green chile. Burrito Grande which was cold and asked for it to be warmed in microwave. The staff behind the counter and in kitchen looked at me as if I were speaking an unknown dialect!!! All I asked was for it to be warmed!! They tossed it in the trash, made me another one, which was also cold! I apologized for requesting it to be warmed, but their attitude was unreal.“
“Good food but fair warning, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!! I arrived and my order was non-existent so I had to wait for them to “find” the order and wait another 20 minutes. They said the online ordering system is not enabled but they will take your money trust me! Lol!! Enjoy!“

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid! Love this place. Definitely a hidden away spot that has awesome chile. If you like your chile hot, you have to ask for it! Good beer to go along with your food as well. The staff has always been super friendly!“

“This taco bell location specifically is usually pretty clean although could use updated/repaired dining room furniture... the food is where they really shine, the meat and veggies are well balanced and you feel you've had warm and well prepared food items almost 100% of the time.“

“My wife and I are here 3 times during our stay, once with the buffet and twice with the à la carte menu. The clear option, especially if you are a Hyatt globalist is the à la carte menu. The buffet isn’t bad, just the food is much better on the à la carte menu. The blue corn pancakes are unique and exceptional. The breakfast sandwich and green chili (on anything), is pretty good (just not as hot as I like my chili but good flavor nonetheless). Would recommend eating here for breakfast. Only negative is that the wait staff can be a bit slow and inconsistent each day, but we came on Labor Day weekend (which is one of their busiest times of year), so I have sympathy for them (you may not lol).“
