“I stopped in around 11:15am on a Wednesday. There was no line in front of me, and I could see quite a few staff working behind the counter, mostly focused on the drive thru. I waited about two minutes before being acknowledged. I don’t mind waiting, but a quick eye contact or smile would’ve gone a long way just to let me know I was seen. I ordered two bagels (one with cream cheese and bacon) and a coffee. They accidentally missed the bacon on my sandwich, which was frustrating, but when I brought it back, the staff member was very apologetic and fixed it right away, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly overall. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn’t terrible by any means. Honestly, this is still one of my favourite Tim’s locations to go”

Thanks to the entire Canteen family - and I say FAMILY purposefully as you feel the family atmosphere as soon as you arrive - for hosting our team for dinner last week. We booked out the whole restaurant and they did just what we hoped for: Maritime hospitality, wonderful, genuine service and knock-your-socks off food. The team from across Canada went bananas over the Crobster sandwich. The special welcome from the owners was a lovely touch. The guests raved all the way back across the harbour on the ferry about the wonderful meal from start to finish. It’s a lovely space that is not pretentious and puts an emphasis on fantastic food and exemplary service, with a genuine smile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!”

“Yesterday we had the privilege of eating at The Narrows Halofax, Nova Scotia's #1 Public House and number #12 in Canada. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and personable host made us feel like we were home! All of the waitresses were incredible and ours went over and above to make us happy and we truly had the best time. The food was to die for, they have a fantastic menu with a bit of everything on it. 100% highly recommend we will be back 🥰”

As you go through the door u see the sign Canadian Owned and also Truly Canadian. Then why are you not using French's catsup instead of Heinz. In our home we use only French's and it is Canadian.
