“I can't recommend this place enough. This place is the gem where I'd dine in when I visit Vegas. The fish was all fresh, and the service was superb. I enjoyed their thick and fresh sashimi flavorful chirashi and loved the taste of the rice that came with it. Buttery unni pasta was also delicious. My family enjoyed it here, and I’m glad I trusted my gut to bring them here.“
“We did Chef Edo's Tasting Menu for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Ben and the team took great care of us. We feel this experience was better than Bazaar Meats. My favorite dish was the Bluefin Tuna Tartaleta with the pops of acidity and beautiful presentation. Hope to be able to dine again here soonest!“
“In the millions of options Vegas presented us with, I am so glad we picked this one! We found a table soon after we arrived at the restaurant and the ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Our servers were very polite and prompt and helped us customize the menu to suit our vegetarian needs. They customized the Bao Bun to substitute meat with either mushroom or tofu and we picked mushrooms. It was delicious! We also ordered the Teriyaki wrap and that was great as well. But the best part was the entree - Dan Dan noodles! The Szechuan pepper aftertaste was very much on point. None of the food was too oily or too rich or too spicy. It was all perfect!“
“As someone who has lived in Japan for 13 years, visiting Hachi was quite a treat for me.I'm very familiar with Izakays and Yakatori restaurants in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kawasaki... basically all over the Kanto Plain. These restaurants, in my opinion, are one of the cornerstone cuisines in Japan. (right up there with Sushi and Ramen)Hachi did not disappoint. The food, atmosphere, and service was top notch and the authenticity was second to none. I truly felt like I returned to Japan. This is on my list of Must Return restaurants.Gochisousama!“
“Everything about this place defines a cigar lounge. They have great and welcoming servers, huge selection of drinks and a huge humidor, and they also have fantastic food. Seating is beautiful. If you get the time stop by! Trust me you won't be disappointed. They even have great events like comedy nights and many more. Love what the owner did and love what the staff is doing. Keep it up and Smok!“
“AMBIENCE: A giant sakura tree in the middle is pretty cool, tables are meant to be for groups. A separate area is the bar/lounge.FOOD: Food was good, nothing really stood out though.OVERALL: My friend and I had the entire place to ourselves, both due to the time we went, 12am on a Thursday, and the construction on Decatur.Parking: CAUTION: There's construction going on Decatur. Make sure to enter on W University Ave thorough the smog check“
“We had the omakase menu because we booked ahead of time (didn't get a choice) and I have to say I was blown away! The char on the skewers were right on and I definitely was walking out of there with a food coma. On the pricier side but it was delish. FYI- This was a smaller restaurant and we saw a couple parties of 2's and 4's try to walk in without success.“
“Update : Owner called me and refund the money . He said the person who charged me doesn't work there anymore ( don't know what happened) . He was very sorry about it . Like I said , I had good time but charging my card like that didn't sit well with me . They are in nice location and they have roof top vibe . Will I go there again , yes . Will I pay by credit card (ummm may be no . I'll just pay cash ).“
“Always a great spot for a quick, healthy lunch! The quinoa salads are some of my favorites. Also good sweet potato fries! Everyone is super nice here as well. With a bowl, you can pick a protein plus two sides to try more of the choices on the menu.“
“This is such a hidden gem!!! So glad we came to check this place out! It's so cute inside, with the perfect interior decor and romantic ambiance. The restaurant said it was open at 6:00pm to 2:00am Tuesday to Sunday but they didn't open until 6:30pm! Thank god we waited a bit because it was an amazing experience. It's kind of hidden in a plaza that you wouldn't expect! So def come check it out! We didn't make a reservation for Saturday night but made it in no problem! The host/server was sooo nice and friendly and gave awesome recommendations. We ordered the following: - shrimp pad cha -- spicy profile with so many flavors | bamboo shoots, basil and good portion shrimp - beef panang curry with side of roti -- our favorite! It was sooo good and flavorful with melt in your mouth beef! It was so good to dip in the roti they gave which was made so crispy yet soft in the middle - crab fried rice -- good portion crab with the perfect blend of flavors in the rice with a super spicy Thai chili sauce to use if you'd like! The sauce is sooo addicting but so spicy! We def had a sweat and water break session after haha (but in a good way spicy) We ordered some red wine, and the host was nice to let us try a white wine on the house!“
“Not usually big on tapas, but felt like trying multiple plates for date night. Everything came out pretty quickly and tasted delicious. We tried the dates, empanadas, steak & mush skewers, calamari, and steak y papas. There is also an extensive cocktail menu. Blood orange marg was fire. Great spot for dates or groups if they want to try out a lot of items.“
“Tons of Vegan options, great service. I had the edamame and Spicy Vegan Ramen. Delicious! Exterior of restaurant a bit uninviting (don’t miss the front door) but other than that I would definitely recommend the Jinya.Vegetarian options: Large Vegas selection“
“Wow. Food was perfection. The chef really nailed every dish we had. If you like McMullan's or Herbs & Rye, then you'll like this, but food is better here. The lobster paella was amazing and good for two people to share. Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection and so good. For appetizers we got the lamb chops, blue cheese mussles and empenadas and they were also all delicious. Guitar player gets into his solo jazzy groove and provides good tunes. Definitely going back.“
“Tiny place that seats about 20 people. Heirloom tomatoes - they sourced nice tomatoes, but all they did was microplane cheese on top. Egg salad - really tasty Pork katsu - tender and flavorful Devil's - creamy, sweet and savory. Loved it. Fried avocado - was just ok. Mussels - status quo. You can pay $5 for a bread au gratin with the leftover broth. $80 for the above items for 2 people with no drinks. Food was ok, but nothing mind blowing where we would rush to come back for. Great late night eats though.“
“For a relaxing time and rustic feel in a cool location and atmosphere, double helix is perfect for a night out to vibe and try new wines and whiskeys including the classics. Not to mention super cool patio area that has a nice fire pit. Highly recommended ?.“
“We tried this restaurant on our trip in Vegas and it was great. We ordered the corn butter, the beef bowl and both were amazing dishes for a very reasonable price. The egg toast dessert was surprisingly good. The crew is very kind. Highly recommend.“
“The 4 of us shared 4 appetizers, 4 entrees and 2 desserts. Thus, I've tasted a lot of the menu. Everything was consistently superb. The gnocchi with lamb ragu, short ribs, and mushroom risotto were especially delicious. I would definitely recommend Anima.“
