“I have always loved this place. Until today. I came in and got a broccoli n cheddar bread bowl. The ratio was OBVIOUSLY messed up, as the cheese was chunky n not mixed well with the cream like it is normally. And then I had ordered a bowl of the crawfish gumbo. Not a single piece of crawfish in the entire bowl. Not to mention standard gumbo has anduoille sausage. The sausage that was in it was some store bought "Johnson stuffs" This place has gone down hill so quickly. I am extremely disappointed, and will never be back again. Save your $'s. they charge too much and are not giving out the same quality as they once did.“

“I haven’t been here in a while and the food is better than I remember!! If you ask me, it’s the only good Asian restaurant in all of Reno. I have dined in and done takeout, both have been good experiences. It’s a small and intimate dining experience, casual and laidback. Staff members are attentive and friendly. Portions are huge and you definitely get what you pay for. Takeout portions are the same as you would get dining in and they do a great job with packaging everything up. I do recommend dining in and trying a few of their dine in only options. They have a seafood dish I don’t remember the name of that I really like. Tonight I got japchae with beef, dukbokki, and beef bulgogi. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Dukbokki has a bit of kick, so don’t recommend for people who can’t handle the heat🌶 GO and support this wonderful establishment we have in our community so they can be here forever!! You will love their food!!“

“Great little hole in the wall spot for takeout. My boyfriend and I ordered for the first time and were so pleasantly surprised. Got the cornbread smothered in gravy with chicken, as well as the smashbuger. Both were phenomenal! I would have attached a picture, but we devoured both meals immediately!“

“Came here as a solo vegetarian. I did not try to find vegan at this restaurant, but I suspect it would be hard. Ovolacto has at least two solid options though. I had the mushroom parparadelle preceded by a Ceaser salad and bread basket. Bread is not free, but it is a large basket with a good selection and comes with oil and vinegar. All of the food was heavy. They like their cream and Parmesan! The salad was bigger than a side. It was good and had crispy romaine with a creamy sauce and thick shaved Parmesan. The parparadelle had a good selection of mushrooms and long thick noodles that had to be cut. It was heavy and salty. There was a good mix of mushrooms. All portions were large. Salad, bread and a main were too much for me and I'm a decent sized guy. If I was with my wife we could have split a salad, side and entree and been full. Overall I'd say it was an interesting fusion of fine dining and comfort food. I will say the staff is very friendly. I felt well taken care of. The decor is fun: a rotating statue, columns that turn into genuine torches, and a ceiling that has lights on the pattern of the stars. Hot towel and white chocolate truffles at the end was a nice touch. I spent about $60 before tip. Not bad for a casino restaurant.“

“I had the Chicken with black bean sausage with the lo mein. A solid little hole in the wall spot with a pair of elderly Chinese guys running the place.

Food couldn't be better. The restaurant doesnt care for appearance. But it isn't filthy. Its the last spot in a strip mall, and clearly all of the money goes into the food, where it should.“

“My husband and I just had AYCE lunch here and we were thoroughly impressed! The outdoor seating was calm with a great view of downtown. The sushi was fresh and delicious, I highly recommend the chefs special! The owner was so personable and added to our great experience. We will absolutely be coming back and filling our punch card!“

“Elliot hooked it up at Panera Bread. He made my sandwich really good—everything was fresh and put together right, not messy or anything. The lemonade was solid too, super refreshing. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job and making sure people get what they want. Definitely a great experience.“

The servers and managers immediately greet you and are happy to help and serve everyone. The mood is welcoming, inviting, and chill. After a long hard day, it is great to unwind with a treat before heading home. This is my kind of coffee house.“
