“First time here. They explained the menu and how people usually order. Plus, talking about the other items they have. You can sit inside or out. They bring the food to you. Plus, you can leave everything, and they clean up. We didn't do that, but it is a service they provide.

“This restaurant is Schenectady’s Best kept secret. I’ve been there several times for lunch and it never disappoints. The service is spot on from when you walk in the door, no pun intended but I’m in a wheelchair(handicap accessible) to when you are leaving, opening doors and exchanging goodbye pleasantries. The place itself is immaculate, shiny floors, beautiful atmosphere, great background music and above all delicious food you know is prepared to order. While being there for lunch, I ordered off the dinner menu with no problem, as the staff is extremely accommodating. The menu includes a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.
Next time you’re looking for a great, quiet and delicious place for lunch or dinner, give Chez Nous a try you will not be disappointed. They have private spacious rooms for small private events and I will reiterate the place is spotless and extremely comfortable with GREAT FOOD!

I can usually find a seat for two, but I would call ahead especially for more than two people. This is a great place. One of my favorites.“

“So we had an amazing DoorDash order from tops the other night. We usually cook but had the flu so needed no contact delivery. Dolmades were not on the online menu as an add on and we wanted to split a salad and add some on. I called and the waitress was happy to manually add them on if I put in a note & charge accordingly. She did it and they were amazingly fresh, best we’ve ever had. I’m big on trying Rueben’s from different places and this is hands down one of the best corned beef Rueben’s ever. My husband got the chicken sandwich with the basil and pesto I forget what it’s called but tried a bite of that and so fresh. I have always liked tops but in the past but I don’t know if they got new cooks or not because this was above average from the food we’ve had in the past and when I’ve ordered takeout in the past there’s been a thing or two missing. Not now. Everything was hot and fresh and the waitress that ordered was so friendly. I know DoorDash can be difficult because the food may not arrive how the restaurant puts it out but we had an amazing driver too!!! This experience will make us go back. When you are used to eating home cooked meals and you are sick and you get a good meal like that and friendly service it makes such a difference. Thank you! I cannot stress how fresh everything was. So important that the food is checked prior to ensure everything is there and that was done.“
