“I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

While there is usually a crowd, the acoustics are such that you can have a pleasant conversation at your table. “Excellent food -- been going there for literally YEARS (even when it was in it's prior incarnation) and the food is always very fresh and high quality. There are some wonderful waitstaff, in particular Juan Carlos, who has been there for years. The owner himself is very friendly and outgoing. The salads are excellent, and really all of the italian specials they have are always good too. Bonus is great biscotti to end your meal with an espresso!“
