“I hated Lima beans, until I ate them at Contento. In fact, everything I ate there was perfection. My husband and I sat at the bar, which is exactly where I’d sit again. It’s cozy, comfortable and you can see some of the kitchen action as well as chat with fellow diners. The chef came out and helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. I use a wheelchair, which is what first attracted me to going to Contento. I appreciate feeling included. But I have recommended the place to friends and the next time I’m in New York I look forward to going back.“

“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“The vibes: immaculate. The food: delectable. The wines: mouthwatering. The cocktails: fiendishly good. The service: warm like family. Bellacosa is a treasure and a gem with full marks across the board. Go with a big group and taste all the tapas, get the cheese board, share bottle of excellent wine, and split as many of the taste desserts as you can. Go with a friend you need to catch up with and talk and talk while you eat a handful of tapas and sip wine by the glass (by the bottle or the glass, the wine selection is distinctly superb). Go on a date for a romantic evening of staring into each other’s eyes while gentle jazz or funky beats plays not too loud and not too soft. Every aspect of the menu, the cocktails, the wines, and the space itself is crafted with thoughtfulness and intentionality. These are people who want to provide an elite level of service and they DELIVER. Go at any point of the year for a lovely time!“

“This is a very unassuming restaurant serves really good food. The chips and guacamole were made with freshly fried (and still warm) tortilla chips and the serving of guacamole generous. Had the duck and beef bourguignon and both were surprisingly delicious. Ambience may not be as welcoming as other restaurants in the hood but food is so good and worth returning.“

“I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“

Everything is made to order and is excellent. The Chicken Martini is a must try, and don’t miss the Veal Parm. Prices are very reasonable and the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. “My husband and I went last night for dinner, and we cannot stop talking about how much we enjoyed it. First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing. Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“

“We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. Our service was perfect too and I will return for sure maybe for dinner to try the other pasta dishes and more pizza.“

“This is our neighborhood restaurant. We usually come here on Fridays to celebrate the end of the work week. Their handmade pastas are ALL excellent (my fav is the bucatini) and their pizzas are soft and chewy and pillowy. The staff are all warm and friendly and the vibe is just relaxed and chill. Whether it’s a cold winter night sipping an old fashioned or a warm summer afternoon sipping a Negroni, there’s no other place I’d rather be at than Bar 314. This is a destination restaurant. Even if it was all the way down in the Financial District I’d travel to it.“

“I really fell in love with this place. In the midst of the fast flow of traffic and daily life, it is the ideal place for me to stop and dedicate time to myself and the people I love. The atmosphere smells of antique and elegant; the furniture is accurate; and the staff exceptional, ready to satisfy every whim, patient and charismatic. The menu satisfies both wine and beer palates, accompanying the drink with rich and elaborate aperitifs. Highly recommended for anyone with this nostalgic romanticism for the ancient and the need to stop, even for a moment, to enjoy life.“

“Due to circumstances, I can't go and eat there, so I've had Uber delivery for 3 days in a row now (trying various things). The quality of the food is incomparable to other restaurants. It's on a different level. Each and every sauce is made with care. They package it well. I had a question about the menu, so I called. When I did that, the female waiter (not Korean) was really kind! She explained it to me while shouting a little and said that she was sorry for yelling at the end because the store was too noisy. Even though she was busy, the waiter explained things so well! The food was great too!! I want to go and eat it warmly. I think it will taste better.“

“Cycling loops around Cental Park and happened upon Sipsteria by chance. As I walk through the doors, I feel positive energy electrifying the room. This energy can be summed up as eloquence & intellect from the students of Columbia intermingling. My Americano was a delight to drink. The apple turnover was a nice ? treat. Decent selection of pastries and sandwiches.Did not get the pleasure of partaking in the wine. Definitely do so on a return visit.Service with a smile ? and a charming bathroom. What more can a cyclist ask for?Hmmmm…. Perhaps a bike rack ??“

“Great pizza options for both vegans and omnivores. We order takeout pizza from Rini’s every time I visit my friend in the area, and it’s such a treat! The crust is the perfect ratio of crispy/chewy, and they get the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings right. Well seasoned, delicious pizza!“

“Came here for Sunday brunch. Place is small but very cute. Has a small bar area and also and outdoor seating area. What really caught my attention was that the menus were digital on an iPad so that was really cool. We got a basket of warm croissants for the table so that was nice. To drink I ordered the spritzer. It was good. For food I ordered the parmesan waffle fries and the chicken and waffles. Food was great, good seasoning, nice presentation and food portions were good. Would definitely come back to try out more dishes and also to support a local place.“

“No question, THE FINEST RESTAURANT in Westchester County, NY. Look you out to eat for a good meal and to be pampered with service. Micheline has the best food north of the City. Period, end of story. From the burger to the fish to the meat, the food is delicious. Always paired with the perfect wine. I'm a beaujolais guy but their selection is vast. My new favorite dish on the menu is the duck and the puree that comes with it. As an appetizer, I love their soups.“

“I had one of the greatest dining experiences at this restaurant a few weeks ago. Everything I expected from a great restaurant was available here. We were greeted at the door. Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and professional. The menu had a ton of options. We decided to go with the mussels and skirt steak. Just amazing. Mussels with fresh and steak was cooked exactly how we ordered. The bread was so delicious we ordered twice - slightly toasted and warm and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping with broth. Sangria is perfect and very refreshing. This is the type of place I will be returning to very soon!“

“Our group of six visited Posto 22 on St. Patrick's night. It had been awhile since we had been to New Rochelle for dining and parking can be a bit challenging. After finding a spot on Main street (only $1 per hour) we discovered that Posto 22 had valet parking available. Our party was sat on time and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. The design of the rectangular restaurant space is a bit odd as the thin bar is in front as soon as you walk in. There was a private party in their secondary large room and there is additional space in the rear of the restaurant. There was a wide selection of menu items and specials to choose from and the group started with friend zucchini and artichokes which were very good. Each couple split a salad (tricolore for me & Mrs.) and they were large and flavorful- really excellent. Bread was provided and the cocktails were well presented. Entrees ranged from Ok to very good with some dishes (A pasta special) a bit too flavorful but the portion sizes were very good. Prices overall were fair for these days $146 per couple all in. Our lone dessert, the apple cobbler, was a disappointment- devoid of flavor. There is a spirited mixed crowd befitting the diverse New Rochelle area so you may have to use your outdoor voice to be heard or it might have been the revelry of the St. Patrick's holiday? Table spacing is generous. Overall we enjoyed our foray to New Ro as a good change of pace. I could recommend this restaurant because if you know how to navigate the menu I believe you can have a very good meal.“

“Lovely ambience, delicious food, friendly service, easy to get to, free parking. How can you not love homemade pasta. My husband had linguini vongole and I had some sort of pasta pocket filled with spinach and ricotta. My husband said his was delicious. My pasta was so light and the filling was excellent. We shared a side of shiitake mushrooms and put that on top of our dishes - perfect. They treated us to tiramisu because we went the day of the snowstorm and they had some left over that wouldn't have been fresh the next day. It was superb. Reasonably priced, especially the pasta dishes. We are already looking forward to going back!“

“Had such a lovely dinner at Emilio’s! We’ve ordered takeout before (and it’s great), but it was our first time dining in.Antipasti and salumi are fresh, and we loved the steak frites. Servers are great. But best of all is Sergio, who’s a hoot and shared the best stories. Can’t wait to go back.“
“I found myself here after leaving a leas than stellar event in the area. Small intimate and not overly loud myself and my colleagues set outside and enjoyed cocktails and the pleasant NYC weather for a few hours. Happy hour was going on while we were there which was a nice selection of cocktails and beers. Service was attentive Nd the drinks were fantastic. It was great to be able to sit have music in the background that wasn't so loud we couldn't carry on conversation. Definitely recommend and Stephanie is fantastic We had several mojitos, margaritas and beers.“

“From the outside, you wouldn't think much about this spot. But once you enter and try their food, it's actually really good. This little gem is situated in Harlem, an easy drive from the Bronx. We walked in and got seated at our table. Our waitress and bartender were very friendly. The vibe was very romantic and cozy, perfect for date night or just grabbing dinner with your girls. They do play throwbacks and R&B so it's definitely a New York spot. Now on the food. The bruschetta was okay. My friend is not a fan of tomatoes, and I'm not a fan of unseasoned tomatoes, so it wasn't a win-win for us. However, the entrées were great. My friend got the skirt steak with fries and I got the linguine bolognese. My pasta was absolutely delectable, and I don't know how I finished the entire entire plate in one sitting. My friend liked her steak, but the fries still the show. They were perfectly fried, and crispy. We also got the berry red sangria. It tasted like a regular Pinot Grigio with a cherry added to it so it wasn't really that special but nonetheless, for $13, you get a full glass so you really can't complain. All in all, definitely check out the spot. It's low-key, but worth a try. I would definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks guys for a great dinner.“

“We went on a Friday around 6, only a few customers in the place. Greeted by a friendly waiter who asked us to sit where we chose. Had the Yatenga salad for starters which the dressing was a bit bitter but the otherwise the salad was very fresh. Entrees were the chef special gambas and the mussels. Both plates were well presented, good portions, and very delicious. We ordered the apple tart for dessert which was ok.We will definitely be returning to try some of the other entrees.“

“The ambiance of this place is beautiful romantic and spot on. It's a small restaurant with 7 tables and this awesome wine room (which I would love to sit in next time). The service was good and always with a smile and suggestions. The good was great everything had its own flavor and was enough for the 2 of us. Bonus was it was 1/2 price bottle of wine night...
