People of all types are welcome here. There are many local Jews that eat here. the food is phenomenal! Chef Rawia always comes out to check on the clients to say hello and make small talk. So many racists just throwing out lies. They need to get a life! I recommend Tanoreen and looking forward to having marinated lamb shank, Califlower steak and some Knafeh. “Literally the best falafel and hummus in all of bay ridge, actually the best I’ve ever had! So fresh and tasty and they make their pita and all their breads fresh! The falafel sandwich is unbelievable!

Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “Went with a fairly large group and gad the best experience ever! The food was EXQUISITE, the lamb from the lamb kebab was so tender. Tried kanafa for the first time and was amazed at how sweet and savory it was, my mind was blown away! Definitely will be coming here many times.“

The clash of brutalism and mcm makes the dining room setting to a movie scene. The quality of food wasn’t the issue. I appreciated not making things not too salty but if the sauces were meant to be authentically ethnic. They missed that mark to cater to palettes less aggressive. I already know if I want traditional cuisines but no frills head to a Northern Blvd, or Flushing Queens. However, despite being non committal-on flavor . You’re coming for an experience and I’d go back gladly.“

“The food was very good. I ordered the Maklouba. The chicken was seasoned very well and the rice was very flavorful. My only gripe is that it took over 45 min to receive my food and when I did receive it it was the wrong dish. If not for that I would rate it 5 stars. Definitely a great spot for a hangout with friends or a date night.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely more of an adult vibe but I'm sure kids would be fine there

“A smaller space, but nicely decorated. Was able to walk in at 7pm on a Tuesday night for two with no problem. Food and service were both great. The mezze portions are great; really loved the labneh. The carrots are slightly sweetened and is served cold. Falafel hummus was plentiful and the falafel was great. Chicken shawarma was delicious; recommend getting a side of pita so you can make yourself a pita sandwich.“

“My girlfriend and I stopped by Fire Kabob and WOW! This place is great! Clean dining area and SUPER friendly staff. We ordered 2 plates, chicken and Lamb and then a side of eggplant burani. The food is fresh and delicious! The rice and homemade sauces are excellent. It also came with a side of bread and salad. Can't wait to try out all their other items, we will definitely be back. I would post pics but we scarfed down every bit of it. It's a must try! Chicken and Lamb - Tender and cooked perfect. Eggplant Burani - a must try, unlike anything I have ever tried. “I’ve gone to this restaurant before under the supervision of the previous owners and I loved it, but now I am blown away! With what the new owners have done with the place I can see this place booming in no time. They have a large vegan selection which is perfect for my family and I, and it’s actually great tasting vegan food which is rare to find. I tried the meatless shawarma in the Grape Leaf Bowl and wow… it is incredible. The presentation was very nice and the flavor is amazing. 10/10 I will definitely be returning here again soon. Wonderful “addition” to the neighborhood!
