“Today was the 2nd time this week I bought wings from the Popeyes @ 4930 Kings Highway. They have the absolute best wing. The new Honey Lemon Pepper wings are AMAZING. The wings are Hot, Fresh and flavorful. The staff are pleasant and professional. The restaurant is clean inside and out, and the wait time is minimal. If you’re looking for really good wings, take a trip to the Popeyes @ 4930 Kings Highway off Utica Avenue. Definitely worth the trip.“

“I frequent this Popeyes locations fairly often, and they never let me down in terms of quality and freshness. The quality of the food has always been good and never disappointing. What really stands out is the professional and excellent customer service provided by Umar (works the front counter taking orders and packing orders at the same time), not just for me, but also any and all patrons I witness coming and going while I'm waiting on an order. Umar is always courteous, professional, and efficient in what he does. He's always on top of his orders, whether it be in person or an online/mobile order making sure everything is in check, and whether the kitchen is on top of pushing out whatever is needed to fulfill an order. Always friendly, courteous, and professional with a smile. Takes orders, prepares, and pushes orders out as fast as humanly possible without any discrepancies. Occasionally, there might be something out of stock which was ordered ahead of time off the app, but Umar will always make every reasonable effort to make things right. Location has also always been clean and tidy. Overall, definitely would recommend this Popeyes location due to their cleanliness, quality of food, and the excellent service provided by Umar and his team.

The staff is efficient and does a great job considering how chaotic the Myrtle-Broadway area is. “My only regret is I didn’t thank the young ladies by their first names. The two young ladies who assisted me on Monday were super kind. I ordered on the app for the deal and they greeted me warmly and we striked up a conversation about the 90s and Hawaiian Punch lol. “I usually just do mobile orders for pickup, but the place is usually nice and clean. Compared to some other Popeyes I've ordered from, the wings they serve here are nice and big, and always hot and fresh. Same with the chicken sandwich. My only issue with the location is that they don't participate in deal campaigns, so you might see some "get X for $5" ad online only to find out they don't do that here.

Oh also they stealth charge you for certain sauces when you order on the app/website. It says they're "included" and won't show you the additional cost when you're picking the sauces, but there'll be 25 cents added per sauce, which is kind of scummy.“

“Came here for lunch on Sunday. It was empty but also just one person making the orders from what I could see and he was doing the register. My food was prepared pretty quick, I did order online but he didn’t start my order until he finished preparing the guy’s order ahead of me.

Everything was fresh and hot, the chicken was crispy and tasted freshly made. The quality of chicken seems to be much better than the other Popeyes that’s closer to my house. Mac and cheese was a little airier and creamier than I expected/am used to. This Mac and cheese didn’t taste as ‘home style’ as what I’m used to but it was still cheesy and flavorful. Overall, can’t complain. The dinning-area was very clean.“

“I work in food delivery and very often pick up orders from this place. I also stop by late at night to grab a quick bite. The night crew here is absolutely amazing — very kind, warm, and welcoming people.

Honestly, I don’t understand why this location has such a low rating. I’ve been to many Popeyes restaurants, but this one really stands out — no exaggeration. The best night staff, a clean kitchen, and the whole place feels bright and well-kept.

“This a very standard Popeyes nothing to write home about. The food is usually decent though sometimes the chicken can be a bit dry if they're between batches. The staff is usually pretty accommodating if you ask for extra sauces and they are friendly enough. However I must warn you about ordering the spicy chicken, I don't really taste the spice so I think they sometimes just give you the normal ones in lieu of the spicy ones without telling you. Overall decent, but probably check to see if the chicken is fresh (look over the counter)“

I always ask for fresh chicken, and they have no problem making it for me—I just wait however long it takes, which is completely understandable. Talk to your night manager. He always wants to argue over coupons. I had a two piece milk coupon that does not specify dark meat. Only it is just a picture of a leg and a thigh and nowhere in the fine print. Does it say dark me only. Every other Popeyes, I go to has no problem understanding that it’s just him that nitpicks. I came back because my order was wrong and then he said he had to charge me more for white meat, which is not true. I told him my side was also wrong and I asked for mashed potatoes and not french fries . He was so busy arguing me down about a less than two dollar up charge that he did not even give me my correct side and I look at my box when I get home after coming back a second time from Popeyes and I still have fries. He should be more worried about making sure people’s orders are correct then arguing over a dollar and some change.“

“My experience at the Popeyes location was a excellent one.
Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile and aroma of food. The atmosphere was clean the only fault I find is that it is small establishment everyone wore their masks, there was no shortage of food. I left feeling my money was spend well, if you are hungry and is in the area I recommend stopping here for either breakfast, lunch, and or dinner.
