“Panzón in Greenpoint is such a delightful spot! I had the chance to sit outside, and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed, sunny meal. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and full of energy, making it a lovely place to enjoy food with friends or family.

The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the street corn, which was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the ideal combination of smoky, creamy, and tangy. For my main, I tried a few of the tacos, and each one was packed with fresh ingredients and bold, vibrant flavors. The balance of textures and seasonings in each taco made every bite a little celebration of authentic Mexican street food.

The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a comfortable dining experience that made the meal even more enjoyable. Sitting outside in the fresh air while enjoying such tasty dishes added an extra layer to the experience — it felt relaxed, fun, and unhurried.

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“

“We were in New York for about a week, we ate out two to three times a day and Gabriel's stands out is probably the favorite out of everywhere we went. The food was amazing, the drinks were top-notch, not to mention the bartenders expertise, and the staff including Gabriel himself were incredibly friendly and welcoming and happy to chit chat and share cool stories about new york. “I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

If you’re in Greenpoint and love oysters, this place is definitely worth checking out.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“The place is a vibe. The atmosphere and esthetics is everything. It has a great vintage, cozy, bookstore mature feels with these bold eclectic open frames. Food is good. Well presented but lacks flavor. Where the food lacks in the drinks make up in style. Service is attentive but not amazing. Overall. Great time. Great vibes. “Drove an hour just to come here for Premier League Morning. The bar was packed, drinks were flowing and the staff was having a grand time with patrons. Ordered the fish and Chips and a Heineken, my buddy got the Full Irish Breakfast, some wings, and a couple beers. The Cod beer batter was fantastic, super crispy fish that melts in your mouth. The buffalo sauce on the wings was also tasty. Prices are great for cash customers as well. My only negative is that when the door keeps opening the place starts FREEZING especially at the bar area but quickly warms up again when closed. Honestly a gem of a sports bar.“

Forever ever nice to start. No controversy here. Refreshing. Can really feel yeast is well alive unlike sterilized canned beer.

Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.

Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.

The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

From planning to execution, Nora and Neel were very courteous and helpful.
