“Hello , I dared to give this review just so the restaurant gets better . Attention was great , the atmosphere was pleasant , most of the food was good but the tostones , patacones : they were from the frozen section of the super . They were not fresh , they were stale and quite flavorless . A restaurant should always offer fresh food , doing otherwise is a disrespect to the customer. This is not the first restaurant in college point that offers frozen stale fried green plantains . I have experienced this in many Latino restaurants . Strangely do You know where the patacones are always fresh : At the college point Chinese restaurants . So owner make a note and tell your cook to stop being lazy .“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. The drinks he made for us, the food — everything was incredible. Very talkative, friendly, and with a super cool vibe — he truly made the whole experience even better.

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. I hope to return soon.“

“I love Jajaja's menu and vegan and gluten free options. I had one disappointing experience which was the quite expensive “dinosaur kale” salad was used with a different kale. It sounds petty, but it's like ordering spinach and getting mustard greens. They should keep the ingredients as described. Otherwise, really nice service and ambience.“

“Run, don't walk! Visiting from the Hudson Valley for a day trip, and my wife & I are foodies. With a hungry 10 year old tyrant in tow, we took our son to the park across the street and killed an hour before wearily stumbling into Miatzil.

First off, on a Tuesday to be dead at 6pm is a crime! The Happy Hour here exceeds anything I've ever seen. $18 for 4 tacos & a cocktail (1 of 3 choices.)

The service is friendly & attentive, the food is wonderful & the spice level is up there with some of my favorite Oaxacan venues down in Mexico.

This hidden gem in plain sight deserves all of the love from the Park Slope community.

Tacos were perfect, frozen margarita were from another league and churros were amazing.
To add, service was fast and you always feel like your being served by a relative and not a stranger.

“When we review restaurants it should be in the context of what they are, and what they are for. This is a beyond serviceable lunch spot that seems to invalidate existence of the nearby chipotle, and possibly even the nearby sweet green.

The food is fresh, the prices are reasonable and the portions are immense. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

The food is also, by the way, quite tasty.

There are a lot of lunch options in the neighborhood but this is clearly one of the best if you are seeking a chipotle style meal.

“I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. I wish I lived closer because this would be a regular place for me. Highly recommend!“

“We came here after my wife’s aunt just passed away and she was about to head home to put down her childhood dog. Server saw her crying and started feeding us shots and didnt charge us for them. Servers are people and they understood our general sadness. 11/10 would come back again just because the service was great, not because of the few free shots.
