“We live about 30 minutes from Cooperstown and we’re feeling a bit cooped up due to the cold weather so we decided to go for a drive. We ended up in Cooperstown and, omg, the cutest town ever. As a Baltimore girl and an O’s fan, it was so cool just to walk around a bit. We saw the Double Day Cafe and went there for lunch. Honestly, I think we were just expecting the usual pub food touristy mediocre place (you know what I mean) But no. This place was SOOOO FREAKING GOOD! I had the veggie burger, it was really cool to see an old school homemade veggie burger on the menu. It was delish! And the avocado on top was perfection. How? I don’t know but it was. Also, the macaroni salad was the best I’ve had in a long time. Kind of smoky-ish flavor? So good My friend had a burger. He loved it It hit the spot. Our server, a young woman with glasses and light brown hair (I know, I’m horrible, I can’t believe I didn’t get her name) was awesome. Easy breezy, doing her thing, attentive to everyone, and just all around super cool. Made our day!”
“Had dinner last night with friends that have not been there before. They loved the food! I had the best veggie burger in town!”

“I’ve been at the cafe for breakfast on multiple occasions; their food taste really delightful and fresh. The staff is super nice, and courteous.
Love their lemon slice cake ( they even gave me couple free slices on top of what I ordered).
Strongly recommend when visiting the Cooperstown area.”

“We live near DC and we traveled to Cooperstown mostly to visit the baseball HOF and, boy were we fortunate to find Toscana's! It was our anniversary night so we had planned on dining at another place that turned out to be closed for the season. We really feel blessed & so thankful that we came across this little gem instead! The service, the food and the lovely ambience were top-notch! Patrick was our greeter/server and he was just so personable and efficient. Like other reviewers, we didn't have a reservation but Patrick welcomed us as tho we did. As business picked up there was no change in his excellent service. Shout out to the classy soundtrack playing throughout our dinner too. Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin...it was all there floating in the background, never interfering with our conversation. The food was SO good too beginning with the artisan bread & oil that was warm and tasty. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was superb. My hubby had the baked haddock also with mashed potatoes and broccoli and he loved it. We had pistachio cake for dessert with espresso which topped off our meal perfectly. I wish we lived closer...but next time we are anywhere near beautiful Cooperstown, we'll head over to Toscana's for another great dining experience.”

“Ive already posted this on google reviews so I’ll post it on Facebook as well! I haven’t been in Cooperstown in quite some time and having to wait for a bit for my wife’s surgery to be completed I went to Upstate bar and grill for the first time. With my mind being everywhere (even for a minor surgery that takes a bit to do) this place was literally wonderful. I don’t do many reviews if at all but I wanted to do one for here. Food was great and the service was SPOT ON! Most importantly so very polite and Nice. My servers name was heather and like I said she was wonderful and thoughtful. I wish most places were kinda like this. Thank you for the service and polite hospitality. I’ll be sure to bring my wife and son when I can!”

“Just had dinner after seeing the Glimmerglass lights with my Husband and 2 boys (5 years & 6 months) we walked right in to a table at 730pm on a Saturday, great cocktails, the antipasto board blew us away and the strip and seafood risotto were to die for. Great portions, the renovations are beautiful it is so cozy, yet modern and the different salt and pepper shakers on every table are such a cute touch! We will definitely be back and frequently!! Caesar was an amazing waiter, the service was incredible. Can’t wait to return.”

“Every Columbus Day weekend about 30 members of our tractor club goes to Cooperstown for tractor fest. On Friday evening we order pizza and wings and on Saturday we order catered pans of food. From the minute you place the order to the time you pick up the food, all of the employees are very helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with. They are just genuinely nice people, even though they are always extremely busy. The food is always excellent. In a world of short staffed, frazzled restaurant employees, the staff at New Yok Pizzeria of Cooperstown stand out for their awesome attitudes and excellent service.”

“Finally a decent cup of coffee in upstate New York. It is a little Starbuckish, only better!”
“We are only here for 1 night and this place is charming! We love older mid-century motels and this one is quaint yet updated. There are some negative Nellies commenting on things like the bathroom and TV size. For crying out loud, most of y'all watch TV on your phones anymore, so what does it matter if the room TV isn't gigantic? It's fine. As for there being no vanity in the bathroom for all of your toiletries, how much do you bring?! There is the back of the toilet, a shelf over the toilet, a corner shelf and the entire dresser top. Or rough it and live out of your ditty bag. We love this little place and our view is worth every penny! We are right on the lake and can watch the ducks eating. Maybe the price doesn't phase me because I live at the Jersey Shore and know all about seasonal lodgings. The price we paid for our room seems appropriate for the location and time of year. Additionally, this place, like many tourist area hotels and motels, is only open seasonally. People need to meet expenses and make a living in season and off. You want cheap, stay at a Motel 6. Highly recommend.”

“The Bingo events are quite eventful and full of so much experience.
I myself and my siblings and our mother enjoy taking the honour of coming down from United Kingdom, Shropshire, to join our beloved granny in attending this wonderful scenario.
Now we are the kind of people who can easily adhere to the "Be Kind" motto that defines this Bingo event as a particularly special occasion.
But overall, what we always tend to do is have fun and enjoy ourselves!!”

“We dropped in for a slice after visiting the Hall on 9/5/25. Excellent East Coast pizza served in a restaurant that’s incredibly clean! We’re from Michigan, where pizza is served by the pound. Sals was a welcome change in both style and quality.”
