Our favorites are the cheeseburgers (surprisingly juicy!) and fries. They are getting a lot more business now with the U.S. Open, which is great, though the line can be very long because of that and service is slower. But the folks are so friendly and the food is great, so it's definitely worth a visit!“

“When my brothers were kids, they would stop to eat at Hiram"s on their way back from Palisade's Amusement Park. My mom would always ask why. My brothers replied, "the food is better at Hiram's! “Now THAT is a Korean corn dog. My first Korean corn dog at another spot was honestly not my favorite, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But when I tried Jongro, I finally understood the hype.

The corn dog was really good, the potatoes were crispy and flavorful, and it definitely wasn’t bland. From what I’ve seen, Korean corn dogs can come with half a hot dog and cheese on top, but I personally wish it was a full hot dog with cheese wrapped around it.

Either way, I really enjoyed this one. Definitely add ketchup and honey mustard. I think you can also add sugar to it if that’s your preference.“

“I came all the way from Long Island to Rego Park, and while passing through I spotted this hot dog truck and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The hot dogs were AMAZING. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onions and mustard, along with a sauerkraut dog with mustard, and both were absolutely delicious. The lamb had this incredible taste on it that packed so much flavor, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and seasoned so well that every bite was better than the last. The rice was fluffy, the sauces tied everything together perfectly, and the portions were generous. If you’re anywhere nearby, you’re seriously missing out if you don’t try this spot.
