“Born in New York and grew up in Huntington. This is my First time at Romas and visiting mom from Virginia, my son has never been to any authentic New York pizza joints. So when we tried Roma’s, he had the Sicilian and he told the owner “it’s the best pizza he ever ate”. Coincidentally the owner knows Tony from our local pizza place in Virginia. Real glad we got up for some real New York pizza before leaving to go home in little ol’ Virginia.“

From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. “Went to Maroni for the first time today....we split the chicken parm, the chicken milanese, and the penne ala vodka. All of it was amazing!! I can't even choose which I liked best, as all three were so great. Had the meatballs as well, and they were also perfect. “I visited Limoncello tonight and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I was originally planning to order takeout, but as soon as I walked in and saw the cozy atmosphere, I decided to stay for dinner instead.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. The young man at the counter was very friendly, and the team in the dining area was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the evening.

The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The music created the perfect ambiance, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

“Service was excellent, ambiance 10/10. Food came in a timely manner and we wanted for nothing. Ordered the Cacio e Pepe, branzino and the rigatoni ragu special. Everything was delicious but having had the ragu special, the bolognese and the amatriciana pasta dishes here in the last month- they all taste the same. I'm sure the other dishes have a varied flavor profile but the meat sauces all have the same flavor and lack the oomph of a really good sauce.“

To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! “Shared the duck and veal entrees which were both phenomenal. The duck was nice and crispy on the outside and perfectly medium in the middle. Fatty, fresh, delicious. The veal was chopped and mixed in with mushrooms in a delicious creamy sauce. That dish came with what is basically a German pasta on the side. We put the pasta in with the sauce so it would soak up all the flavor. Didn’t leave anything left on either plate. Will visit again next year when I’m on vacation“

“I am a Shipt shopper and travel to Riverhead once or twice a week. After a long day, I always look for something fast, delicious, and satisfying. Since I love Italian food, I googled an Italian restaurant nearby and came across Lenny Pizza & Bistro.

My first visit was on September 22, 2025, when I ordered the baked ziti, sautéed spinach, and garlic knots. This was actually my first time ever having freshly baked garlic knots—and they were incredible! That entire meal was so delicious, I knew I’d be back.

On September 29, 2025, I returned and tried the meat lasagna with the sautéed spinach and garlic knots—it was absolutely perfect. Yesterday, I found myself craving that lasagna again and just had to go back. Once more, I ordered the meat lasagna, spinach, and garlic knots, and it was every bit as amazing as the last time.

The food here is consistently fresh, flavorful, and comforting—exactly what I need after a long workday. I can honestly say Lenny Pizza & Bistro has quickly become my go-to spot in Riverhead. Highly recommend!

“Pellegrino‘s is some of the finest Italian food on the East End. It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. Great food fantastic service a small, but vibrant bar area or what you’ll find here.
They make a great pizza.
I cannot recommend this place more highly.
Stop in for a bite you will not be disappointed.“

“Fantastic food - Uncle Joe is a local legend. I've been eating his food since the 80s. Uncle Joe's Veal and Stuffed Artichokes are the Best! Mushroom & Garlic Calzone with or without Ham..Garbage Pie Pizza... getting hungry! Try the Prixe Fixe in the dinning room, full bar, great food and plenty of it, great prices. Awesome Desserts..“

“Have been to this restaurant many times. Food has always been excellent. We went last night and the food again was excellent. The problem is it is a small venue and it was extremely tight last night almost to the point where you felt you were sitting with everyone else. To squeeze that many people into the space was uncomfortable. We actually had a bit of a tiff with another table who were literally sitting on top of us forcing one of my guest to say “ Your pushing my breasts into my table!” She actually used a different word to describe breasts. It was not an enjoyable meal despite the food being great.“

“Lovely dinner with my family last night. Waitstaff could have came around to keep drinks full and make sure our needs were met. Food was delicious but someone needs to please clean that pizza oven. Burn bottom and crust was a bummer as everything else was very nice. Photo is my take home slices. All three pies were this way. Such a shame. My family came from MA.“
