“I had a great experience at the Popeyes on Astoria Blvd! I especially want to thank the supervisor, Urmi, for her excellent customer service. She was smiling, friendly, positive, and very welcoming to every customer.
She prepared my order very quickly, and I was really impressed with how carefully and beautifully my food was packed. My sandwich was fresh, well-prepared, and looked great. Her positive attitude and professionalism really made my visit enjoyable.

“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“You can read story on their wall but this is not roasted as it says since chicken skin not even crispy. It’s braised old, tough chicken (similar to Coq Au Vin) which not really my thing since kinda dry & tough.

I got noodle soup as side so it somewhat masks dryness but still not as good as juicy, tender chicken. I’m more into young, tender chicken slow roasted under low heat.

Place is tiny & more a takeout place. Prices & service good but style of cooking just not my thing.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Nice little spot and such friendly people. Heading back very soon“

Disregard if you prefer to dine on an active jetway or at an artillery range but otherwise yeah bring your listening horn like Beethoven had or plan to communicate by passed note.“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I just saw a sign for gamjatang (감자탕) at what looked like just a chicken wing spot. Honestly, I had zero expectations since it didn’t seem like a place that specializes in it but I was craving it so much that I gave it a shot.

Wow. The broth was light and clean, the meat tasted really fresh and not greasy at all, and the flavors were super well-balanced. The service was friendly, and it was $15. I went in with no expectations at all and walked out completely satisfied.“

“The food here is exceptionally good i been here multiple times. I usually order the chicken tender box that comes with fries. The staff is very friendly, and the food is ready pretty quick. The sauces are all really good, definetly recommend if your looking for good chicken!“

I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.

Hands down, no bs, it's amazing.
Same owner. Different menu. Trust me, go in and order something 😁 try their drinks, they have some fun looking bottles that are sooooo good 👍“

“Went here on Thursday night with five of my friends for a belated birthday celebration. The staff was very kind to us and answered all of the questions we had. The meat quality is very good and delicious for the price! And their drink menu has good variety.
I wish I took photos, but I was so hungry that I just kind of focused on eating.
One of my friends said that he wished that the salad bar would have more variety, but I was personally fine with the size of the salad bar because I was there mostly for the steaks. And the grilled pineapple with cinnamon was a good palate cleanser between servings too.“
