“Good service, and AMAZING bagels, they came quick even though place was packed, and the portions were definitely big for their price, the quality of the ingredients is also evident as it tasted AMAZING. Stayed at Eastchester area with my dad and brother, came the first time to this shop out of curiosity, had to eat the bagel in the car as it was SO GOOD, then we came back 3 more times , tried philly cheesesteaks, the BLT and a couple more flavours, they were ALL amazing, i 1000% recommend this place and will be bringing people here“

“Typical bagel shop. Very convenient location with available free parking. Perfect for picking up breakfast on your way to work. Friendly, courteous staff. Tables available if you want to sit and eat. Plenty of space so you don't feel like you're eating while people are standing right next to you at the counter.“

“My husband and I live in Stamford, CT, but we always make the drive to Brooklyn Bagel Company because the bagels are just that good. The shop has plenty of seating, lots of parking, and great coffee and pastries if bagels aren’t your thing. Highly recommend this spot if you love a true New York bagel 😊“

“This place has the best bagels. Their bagels are so soft and delicious 😋. The scallion cream cheese is perfect. I love the variety of bagels they have and you cant beat the price. They always have a line outside but it goes rather quickly.“

“This neighborhood deli is packed with character and options. I ordered a classic lox and scallion cream cheese—fresh, briny, and generously portioned. The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

“I was in the area and was looking for a breakfast place. I'm so glad I found this spot. I've been to the area many times, but hadn't been to this spot.

The staff was friendly and helpful. There were other customers there, but the line moved very quickly. I ordered an iced coffee and a BLT; my order was prepared very quickly.

They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio with tables and chairs with a view.

They have a full deli, pastries, drinks and more. I'm glad I found this place. It quenched my hunger and was what I needed! I'll be back again the next time I'm in the area.“

“It’s a little corner bagel shop and this was superb at many directions.
I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.
Totally satisfied with the food and drink and services by the guys.

“Good bagel shop here. $9 for a BEC which is pretty standard. Friendly staff and a clean establishment. The bagels are very fluffy, it’s almost like eating a loaf of bread which is a bit too fluffy for me. Full menu of sandwiches and different spreads and meats available.“

I used to come to Mike’s once every 1-2 weeks as a grad student looking for some affordable grub. The workers were always friendly and efficient. Sure, I would have loved an even cheaper bagel, but alas, we are in Manhattan - even if it is uptown.

The reviews that ask for things they don’t serve and then get mad, hilarious. May we all be so bold when it’s needed (and deserved) most.“

“I have been going here for DECADES always the best bagels anywhere. I always bring a few dozen to Syracuse my daughter misses and my son-in-law is a new fan. I brought them to work and the staff were amazed! My staff are from 3 counties and several towns as I said the BEST around. Almost always a line. Food is fresh and delicious.“

“Had promised the SO that I would take him for breakfast sandwiches on a Sunday (our favorite). Timing was not great as we got there after the kitchen grill was closed (won't make that mistake again). We were still able to have an egg salad sandwich, cream cheese bagel and a toasted blueberry bagel. Great variety of bagels and they are delish! They also do an impressive selection of sandwiches. Monday to Friday there is usually a line out the door, but the service is very efficient and the line moves quickly. There are only a couple of 2 seater tables available inside to sit down.

Parking: Sundays and holidays are free parking. Bronxville is notorious for parking tickets so double check to be sure.“

“I have been a long time customer, since the early 80’s. For the first time I had lunch at the Hot Bar and met the new executive chef Chris Smith while I was serving myself. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and he was so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Stews for continually hiring outstanding employees and welcome to Chris.“

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — just the way real New York–style bagels should be.
They have a great variety of spreads, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been a customer here for a couple years now and I’ve never been disappointed with my orders.The ladies who work there make my day with how happy they look to see me and chat with me. Cash only definitely makes it less convenient, but they’ve got an ATM right there and it’s worth the minor trouble. Anyone who says the food is pricey has no clue what they’re talking about - average sandwich is like 7-8 dollars. That’s far cheaper than what you’d get in NYC which is like 20 minutes away, especially for the quality. I’ve only sat to eat a couple times, but it’s about what you’d expect from a small bagel place. It’s not the best for a proper sit down meal, but it feels cozy in there and I’ve struck up conversations with other customers a few times. All in all, this place is a must try, you’ll get addicted to those bagels, they must have some secret formula.“

“First time trying this spot out. Picked up a dozed bagels for a teenage sports team. Ordered plain and everything bagels with cream cheese. While I waited, there was a consistent line of what seemed to be regulars popping in to get their usual orders. The staff were efficient and courteous and got my order ready pretty quickly. I ordered a mini plain cream cheese bagel for myself to try out. I ended up eating the bagel on the way to the game. The cream cheese had partly melted on the bagel, which was toasty and delicious. I'm gonna go back and try a breakfast sandwich soon. This is a very small store, not tables to sit at, good choice of cream cheeses. They also had some good tea options that I could see on the back wall behind the counter.“
