“The business is very good on the one hand... but the DJ is useless... why do you have to pay him to play music and if he is accused of the owner or the manager, he spends his time posting through a microphone that he plays the music he wants. According to the women at work who make him look bad... and it's just that the one who pays him the best is the music he plays... for the rest you have to cry to the manager who plays music to be able to please some clients who don't pay him“
“Good place to trash money. $6 beer+tip.Wanna talt to a girl? $20 +tip (her drink). Wanna dance?$20 for dancing. $5 small water. You can sit at the bar and spend as little money as you can, sometimes i do.But just dont get drunk! I've seen people being thrown out.“

“Always promised myself on my next trip to NYC I would go to The Dead Rabbit. I am so pleased I got to do it. The staff the cocktails the food and the decor & cleanliness were A1. Loved the welcome my friend and I got, (even when we were a bit late for our booking) throughout the service from the fabulous servers. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bloody brilliant 👏“

“Such a fun experience! Axe throwing was more challenging than I expected but thankfully their staff helped make corrections so we were able to get the hang of it! “My boyfriend and I dined at the bar here on November 2. Food was great and the vibes were great. Alessandro, the owner, is very welcoming. However they didn’t serve us our bread and were going to serve it after the last course but I told them not to bother. They also were very slow to refill our waters. Other than that, it was great.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Special cocktails. Outdoor seating available and is what makes a difference! Service is patchy the waitresses are better than the waiter however they still charged us full price instead of a discounted price at happy hour for our three wren cocktails which we only discovered afterwards. Also we found it strange that the wren cocktail which we learned to be a batch prep can be crystal clear one day and very opaque and milky the next day (the cocktail is a dark pink color) although the taste dows not change very much, still a bit strange!?

“It was our first time in NYC, and we stumbled upon Gabriel’s. We instantly loved the warm ambiance and felt so welcomed. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by the owner himself, Gabriel—a great guy, clearly passionate about his craft and providing exceptional service. We enjoyed the Gnocchi Sorrentina, Pappardelle Cacio e Pepe, and Mozzarella di Búfala Caprese—the freshest Italian cuisine we’ve ever had. 10/10!“

“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“

“Highly enjoyed my first time at the happiest hour! Came here for my anniversary on a Monday night. It wasn’t very busy, due to it being a Monday, but food and service were both excellent! Great vibes all around. We both got the happiest meal with the double smash burger and fries, was seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had! They made the night very special for me and my partner. We ended up staying for nearly 4 hours till they closed! Will definitely be back!“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We decided to check out this bar while staying in the area over the weekend and didn’t know what to expect but were blown away!
Amazing decor, great ambiance, it was packed and lively on a Saturday night around 10pm in contrast to the quiet streets of downtown brooklyn. We absolutely loved the Raspberry Shrub drink - the white vinegar added a little bit of a sour kick and made the cocktail one of the most memorable we’ve had. Super unique menu and fun food items. Great service and vibes. We’ll be back!“

They’re delicious, and also perfectly prepared and all photo worthy. But don’t miss the best part: the vermouths. The best selection of vermouths that we know of in America. Many of them have everything an excellent cocktail has to offer right in themselves with a little ice. And if you have the good luck to have Diego manning the bar, just ask him what you should have.

“We arrived 10 minutes B4 10:00 opening and were asked to leave and come back. It was a gamble, given the neighborhood competition! We window-shopped pastries and bagels, but were determined to return for a more delectable & delicious meal. So worth the wait! The spicy Brussel Sprouts salad was creative, layered with flavor and just delicious! The Benedicts had poppin’ poached eggs and a delicate, lemony Hollandaise. Avocado toast was topped with goodies but kept forward the toasty crunch and creamy avocado base. A cheery cherry spritzer with rosemary sprig was beyond delicious- a must! We will be returning again and again to this gem of a spot. Highly recommend!“

Loved the 2 shrimp dishes we ordered, the shrimp cake as appetizer was excellent.

Henry , a manager , made sure the customer service was above and beyond and this is the day after New Years, so imagine a regular NYC day. Espresso martinis were on point , not to harsh and smooth. “The first time I heard about this place was when I saw their huge sign while driving. My friends and I decided to give it a try and enjoy the food. Since they were running late (or maybe I just arrived too early!), I ended up sitting at the bar and ordered a happy hour margarita with chamoy and Tajín on the rim. For $20, it included chips and guac or salsa—not bad at all. The margarita was delicious, and the chips were fresh.
Once my friends arrived, we ordered a few dishes to share: the enchiladas, tacos a la barbacoa, and tres leches cake. Everything was good, though the food itself wasn’t something we’d rave about, but we definitely enjoyed the overall vibe. I do want to mention that the staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.“
