He was just starting his new job that day, and he was not really familiar with the menu and answers to our questions. BUT, he was terrific. “Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

“I had an awesome experience at Westchester Taco Grill. The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of personality. I ordered the pernil taco and it was absolutely loaded with juicy pork and bold seasoning. The tequila lime chicken bowl with quinoa was light but super satisfying, and the DIY burrito I built (steak, mushrooms, mango salsa, queso fresco) was honestly one of the best I’ve had.

The loaded fries were ridiculous in the best way cheese wiz, queso fresco, and bacon, total comfort food. I also tried two drinks the spicy strawberry margarita and their signature “Something Waco” both were unique and hit the spot. Finished with the tres leches cake, which was rich and creamy without being too heavy.

Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the whole vibe was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, and recommending to friends!“

I ate outside but went inside a few times and it had a nice simple laid-back vibe. I had the hanger steak sandwich with garlic-cilantro fries which was really yummy. My server was Bridgette, and she was really sweet and attentive yet also gave me plenty of time to enjoy my meal and after lunch cocktail. Speaking of which, Bridgette not only nailed the suggestion of the passion fruit margarita for my after meal treat, but as she was also bartending, made an absolutely delicious drink. I was having such a relaxing time I stayed for a second one. I was even complimented by a passerby on how "content" I looked. LOL! Will definitely be back to this unique and friendly spot!“
