Today (8/11/23), however, I came in for the bottle of wine and cheese deal and then cheese plate was shrunken to a tiny platter that made it impossible to cut on it. Also, three olives to two people???? Screw whomever made that decision. Still, we will be back.“

We had Burrata with melon an prosciutto as an appetizer then veal parm that could have easily served 3 people and pork osso bucco served w risotto. It was delicious. Stuffed crab meat shrimp as appetizer, bacon wrapped mozzarella served with a side of Lobster Bisque soup and tuna tartare with avocado. Scallops served with a asparagus and creamy risotto was delicious as entrees. Meal ended with a Creme Brulee topped with sliced strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. “One of my favorite dining experiences in a while. The prices were very reasonable, but the food and service were amazing. We went on a Saturday and our server (I believe Argentinian?) was incredible, not pushy at all, and timed out the meal beautifully. She didn't try to upsell, but was attentive and we had no problem being there for almost four hours while having different dishes. The food itself was fantastic - highly recommend the steak, empanadas (amazing sauce), and the croquettes. Also a very nice atmosphere and great drinks. Will go back for sure.“

“So, we were expecting a large crowd and the party room that they had, was not available for that day, so we decided to host the party in the community club room of our building and cater their food in.They did not disappoint! It was amazing! ? Sometimes when you had food catered, it loses its quality and taste in the quantity. In this case, that was not true at all. The sliders were amazing and very tasty. “BK Sweeney's is a popular Long Island bar located in Garden City that offers classic American bar fare. During my recent visit, the 'BKS Angus Steakhouse Burger' stood out as a winner for me. It was perfectly cooked, though the fries were a bit bland. However, the service wasn't great - our waitress not only ignored us throughout the entire meal, but also forgot to bring out all three of our appetizers. When we raised it to her attention, she asked if we wanted to take them to-go...who would ever want to get charged and take them to-go? We ended up canceling them entirely. You might be curious about my 4-star rating for this restaurant. Despite this recent hiccup, my previous visits to BK Sweeney's were issue free. I believe it is not fair to penalize the entire business for the actions of one waitress. I'll definitely be returning soon to give it another go.“

“Love the food at Aso Rock! I normally get the Jollof and fish and it never disappoints. I tried the fufu and veggies today and loved it! The customers sitting next to me raved about the boneless goat head with white rice which I will try next time. The owner appreciated that I knew much about the culture and food since I am not African. The other customers also appreciated my knowledge of the culture and treated me to a free plum wine which I also enjoyed. I normally have a good experience here and will definitely return!!!!“

My absolute FAVORITES were the calamari, the cold sesame noodles, and the ribs. The fried rice and egg roll were okay, but nothing to rave about. But the others were ABSOLUTELY worth rating! Out of the last two mentioned, the rice topped the egg roll. All in all, the food is very tasty and I would like to eat in-house next time. ?“

“I believe our servers name was Antonio. He was excellent! We had a few questions when ordering and he let us know that the mixed grill would take about 35-40 minutes. So we ordered that right away. There was four of us. We shared two pizzas. The one with fig and prosciutto was beyond delicious! Will definitely order again. I didn't try the other one, however it was pepperoni with hot honey, and our friends said it was very good. The mixed grilled was the perfect choice to sample a bunch of different meats. It was huge and a great value. There was lamb chops, sausage, steak, chicken thighs, and all cooked and seasoned perfectly. For sides we had the most amazing potatoes and brussels sprouts. We also shared eggplant meatballs, which were very tasty. Cocktails were to our liking, strong. My one friend who ordered wine. The manager Cathy came over to check in. She asked how the wine was and a moment later came back for my friend to try one she recommended. We were honestly blown away by the service. Cathy later came again to see how everything was and we happily told her excellent! I would honestly go back even if just for dessert. The fried little pieces of heaven in a bag with Nutella, caramel and chocolate sauce.... OMG! Oh course paired with an espresso martini. Overall wonderful experience and will certainly be back!“

“This place is tightly packed with tables and quite popular even during weeknights, so we wish we had a reservation for our group of 5. They have a kids menu, which is rare in NYC, and the portions were substantial for both kid and adult plates. I thought the two fish dishes we got (salmon encrusted with mustard and pistachios and a whole halibut) were both prepared excellently though the sides of broccoli and spinach were overcooked and not flavorful. My favorite part of the meal was their outstanding, homemade Napoleon. Service was great. Definitely will return!“
