“Quick service restaurant that serves poke bowls, sushi burritos, ramen and pho all with high quality ingredients. Awesome menu items plus a build your own option provide plenty of options to fill everyones desires. Dine in seating is plentiful, and the take out option is fast. Definitely give this place a 10/10“
“Great food, coconut shrimp was amazing!!! I had no idea coconut shrimp meant you use the coconut flakes as the crunchy part???? You can definitely tell, it was amazing they don't cheap out. Expensive, mocktails are $12, drinks are $27, and ramens are about $50 each if you have meat, I believe $23 without it? Check the menu I'm not 100% sure. Great portions. Nice dark and warm atmosphere, 佢哋會講中文,但唔會話粵語, so that's a plus. They were so kind and gave a free birthday desert which was so cute. The skewers coke on candles but it's just for show, not to warm it. I love how they go the extra mile. About $400+ for 5 people. Leave a good tip THEYRE great“
“Amazing ramen experience! From the rich, flavorful broth to the perfectly cooked noodles and generous toppings, every bowl at this place is a delight. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere make it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal. Highly recommend!“
“Deciding to move to this neighborhood and checking out all the restaurants around. This place surprisingly was good. We ordered miso ramen and shoyu ramen. Both were really good. In a lot of restaurants broth is always too salty, but this broth was perfect. And one more thing that liked the spicy oil sauce. It was soooo good, that I could not spot adding it to my ramen. The sauce had sesame seeds and the seeds gave it a very special buttery flavor and it was tooo spicy. Many I should buy for home)))“
“Blink and you might miss this hole in the wall but definitely a hidden gem.Definitely recommend reserving a table because space is tiny. But what it lacks in space It makes up in taste ! The food is delicious! Not the largest menu, but you will like the comic strip like menu and animated walls. I had the SHOYU TRUFFLE RAMEN and hubby had the BLACK GARLIC TONKOTSU RAMEN. The broths were flavorful. ( paired with Orion draft beer was perfect) Kids both had GYUDON and TORI KARAAGE and really enjoyed it. The parfait ice cream at the end is a must! We tried the Matcha flavor this time, and it was phenomenal. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. Don’t miss out on this unique dining experience!“
“The ambiance of Cha Menya is aesthetic, beautiful and relaxing. The service and food were impeccable! We had the karage and ika for starters. They were delicious! The ika especially exceeded my expectations. For mains we had the triple shrimp and the tsukemen. Both were delicious but my favorite was the tsukemen. Everything in both ramen's were cooked perfectly and the both was amazing.“
“This place has the best boba hands down. The flavors are amazing and actually taste like what you’re ordering. Service is quick and very clean inside. Kenny is always so nice when I come and helps with any question I have. I haven’t tried any of the food yet except for the gyoza but will be trying soon !“
“Totally recommend the A5 Pork Bun ($9) and the D1 Grilled Eel Don ($18). Pay with cash to save 10% off your bill. My friend is an unofficial Kiko Ramen Ambassador. The Staff made her a balloon birthday cake.Parking is in the back...or diagonally across the street in the Staples Parking car park. Better to trust the former than the latter (which has a 2 hour time limit).“
“TLDR: I regularly visit Nipon Cha and it never fails to deliver an amazing dining experience. The ambiance, service, and food are always exceptional. My go-to dish, the spicy tuna don, is a flavor-packed delight. Even my girlfriend's curry pork Katsu don, which is a tad sweet for my taste, is always enjoyable. I can't recommend Nipon Cha enough to anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese cuisine.I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nipon Cha, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with impeccable courtesy and hospitality, truly reflecting the essence of Japanese service. The restaurant exudes a beautiful ambiance, striking the perfect balance between tranquility and liveliness. It's a sight to behold as customers relish their meals and enjoy the company of their loved ones. The food and drinks at Nipon Cha are consistently impressive. I ordered the spicy tuna don, a masterpiece that melds perfectly vinegared rice, spicy raw tuna, avocado, and a gently boiled onsen egg. A symphony of savory, tangy, sweet, and salty notes danced on my palate with every bite. The dish was elegantly complemented with a side of delicious miso soup. I savored every bit of my meal, ensuring not a single grain of rice was left in my bowl.My girlfriend's choice, the curry pork Katsu don, was no less impressive. The curry, sweet and light as is characteristic of Japanese cuisine, was a delightful pairing with the crispy, yet tender and juicy pork. The dish was served on a bed of white rice, topped with a refreshing salad. The curry was cleverly served on the side to prevent the dish from becoming soggy. Although it leaned slightly towards the sweeter side for my personal taste, I found myself thoroughly enjoying it.Every visit to Nipon Cha feels like a mini vacation to Japan. Sitting by the window, watching the world go by, I felt immersed in a peaceful and serene atmosphere. This restaurant has quickly become my go-to spot for all occasions, whether it's a family gathering, a date night, or just catching up with friends. To anyone seeking an unparalleled Japanese dining experience, I cannot recommend Nipon Cha enough. Their consistent delivery on taste and presentation, coupled with their warm hospitality, makes every visit a delight. You certainly won't be disappointed!“
“The BEST RAMEN!!! ??? Im half Japanese and I know when japanese food is legit and this place makes some of the best ramen I’ve ever tasted! Shout out to Bart for being super awesome and attentive! Basically the whole staff was bomb awesome! When in Port Washington come here for Ramen!“
“The service is nice, the store was empty when we came in we were the only customers. The store is really dark and the ambience is a bit calm because the music wasn't blasting in our ears. We ordered the Japanese shumai and it was okay to say the best. We also got braised beef noodle soup and it was good. I liked how there were different types of noodles you could pick, we picked egg noodles. The beef was soft and literally just melted in your mouth. However, we did hear the microwave go off a couple of times before getting our food which was kind of weird.“
“Poke bowl for the win!Build you own or select one of their signature bowls. I normally make my own and they never disappoint. The staff is polite and patient while I select from the options. Ths spot has lots of seating including high top tables for a cooler vibe. They also sell liquor which I have not tried. I have tried their bubble tea which is good.“
“Extremely delicious food , i tried thepork bao buns- 9/10gyoza w the spicy mayo- 10/10takoyaki- 10/10we also got ramen bowls , so authentically good , the flavor was to die for on a cold day like today! they actually take their time to bring the food out ( not alot of wait time dw ) the service felt family owned , they were super sweet & attended to us w ease. overall no complaints , cozy , affordable & great atmosphere , thank you!!“
“Food is amazing nothing less than flavorful and filling. They are very attentive of the order to make sure everything comes out perfect. If you love anime or one piece this is definitely a place to visit also not crowded at all extremely clean and just all round place to eat!“
“Very fast service and the food is delicious. We got the miso ramen and the spicy tongotsu ramen. It's definitely spicy! Both really tasty. The seafood ramen is good but a little bland. I would get some moderate spice in there. You can actually build your own Ramen bowl, which is another option. The takoyaki is delicious. Got the beef short ribs which is $11.95 and it's 5 very thin small slices of meat. It was tasty but I won't spend that much money on so little food again. They offer a 15% discount for firefighters, first responders, military, and seniors. Super cool. Really like this place.“
“Was really craving poke and was happy to find The Bowl near me. Parking is a bit difficult as it is in a busy area with only street parking. I was able to find a spot a block away on the street by the school. The Bowl is a small space with some tables and counter seating for dine in. I did takeout. Build your own with 3 protein. I opted for black rice because I was trying to be healthy haha but prob should have gotten sushi rice to get the full experience for my craving. You can choose up to 4 sides. Masago topping is extra $1 but I was like why not. I feel like my poke bowls aren't complete without them. I opted for spicy salmon, spicy yellowtail and marinated salmon as my 3 proteins. I felt the spicy salmon and yellowtail weren't that spicy but I just went home and added extra spice. Can choose your sauces on the side or mixed into your bowl. Overall everything was pretty fresh and even with black rice my craving was satisfied. My bowl came to around $19 after tax ($1 extra was for the masago so a 3 protein bowl was probably $15.95). Pricey but I feel like that's average for a poke bowl nowadays since they've been around the same place elsewhere. Service was quick and friendly. Glad The Bowl is around for my future poke cravings! They also have ramen and boba so maybe I'll try those one day.“
“We were skeptical of the menu change at first and almost walked out, but we decided to stay. We are glad that we stayed, because the sushi was incredible and very fresh. I'm glad we kept an open mind and would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be returning.“
“Visit Date: January 6, 2024I came here with my son and my dad. My son decided he wanted to try instant noodles. So I got him a side of plain ramen. I didn't want to spend too much money so I got the pork bun for myself. My son got the blue hawai soda and my dad got a bowl with ramen, a poached egg and broth. The pork bun was good, a nice appetizer. My son seemed to like the noodles. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were also very nice.Pork bunPork bunPlain ramen for my son and blue hawai soda“
“Went here for lunch and would definitely return. I got a poke bowl and a drink. Both were reasonably priced, especially for the amount you get(big), and had lots of flavor. The employees were great, and checked on us to make sure our food was good. The place was clean and the food came out quick. There's lots of parking and lots of seats.“
“A decent little shop that has been consistent. The broth does tend to be on the bland side( but after all the chili I put in it works for me ) I’ve dined inAnd taken out with no issues. Friendly service takeout always well packed and never missing.“
“I didn’t realize that there were two DIFFERENT restaurants in the same building. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic. The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish! We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!“
“I enjoyed my ramen very much!! Miso Ramen was tasty and filling! My daughters tried the moshi dessert, which they enjoyed. We went late on a weekday so it was very slow. The shrimp appetizer was delicious, I liked the sauce that came with it. I was in the mood for Ramen and I got exactly what I wanted!“
“their pad thai, tom kha soup, and yellow curry are all delicious. i come here for fruit tea multiple nights a week and they’re open late which is an added benefit. super friendly staff as well. i hope this place is open for a long time, i love it.“
“A pretty new ramen place located right by the LIRR station in Great Neck. The ambiance is nice with standard yellow lighting overlooking a wooden sushi bar and several tables of 4. The walls are decorated with a variety of anime posters some of which are from my favorite movies by Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai. Upon entering, they also sell some of the anime posters as well as stickers for a very reasonable price (2 for $0.25). This ramen place not only sells ramen, but Udon and rice options as well for those who do not like ramen. I'm a huge fan of Udon, but very picky with it as well. I decided to stick with a ramen dish since it is a ramen shop after all. I ordered the curry ramen and my boyfriend ordered the special BG Ramen which is a tonkatsu soup base with an extra black garlic kick. Both soup bases were good, but surprisingly I enjoyed the curry one more. It's the traditional sweet Japanese curry that's not spicy and has corn, 2 halves of a marinated egg, and Naruto. The BG Ramen also had 2 halves of a marinated egg, 2 thin slices of char siu, and a plethora of bamboo shoots with inoki mushrooms. The ramen is a bit soft to my liking and softly resembles those from instant noodle packages. My friends ordered the Japanese fried rice and kimchee ramen. The Japanese fried rice was not bad and tasted like regular fried rice with some shrimp pieces. We all shared two appetizers - the Nohara fries and the Chicken Karaage. The order of Karaage only had like 5-6 pieces and was not worth the price. The Nohara fries were loaded waffles fries with sauce and pretty good. They also have seasonal desserts and drinks as well which we did not try. The waiter was friendly, but as soon as he was done serving food he sat at the sushi bar and went on his phone. The restaurant does have a stamp card in which you get a free bowl of ramen after purchasing ten. Overall, a decent ramen shop in Long Island!“
“This location is near my place and I always see it when I pass by. Tonight I felt like stopping by to pick an order to go. The place looks a cool spot to hang with friends and family and super clean and helpful. I skimmed thru the menu quick and the Karaage Curry caught my eye since it was a curry dish !!! I must say the food was good! However, it was a big disappointment in which there was no curry ..? Just some sweet sauce drizzled on the chicken katsu. I was really looking forward to this dish/my dinner but the curry was a no show! Kindly can do better with this dish by actually adding the curry sauce!!“
“My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet late at night so we found this place on seamless. The delivery person brought our desserts whilst it was snowing pretty hardcore! We were so appreciative. The desserts were yummy! We ordered the mango cheesecake and Oreo stuffed cake. Fun note is that there's an ice cream filling in the Oreo cake. We are definitely ordering from here again and trying their other desserts.“
“Came here with my husband and ordered a variety of rolls. All were great. In our opinion it’s the best sushi in the area Mineola/Garden City/New Hyde Park area but is a little pricey, especially considering the vibe and feel of the restaurant.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at 신당동 즉석떡볶이 왕김밥플러싱, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance was inviting and elegant, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, providing top-notch service throughout the meal. Now, let's talk about the food—absolute perfection! Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with exquisite flavors. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, every bite was a delightful culinary journey. Whether it's the ambiance, service, or food quality, everything exceeded my expectations. It's the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to treat yourself to extraordinary cuisine and impeccable service. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their culinary delights“
“yasubeeramen originating from Japan and recently expanding to Flushing, NY , offers a delightful culinary experience.Located inside the Queens Crossing Mall across from KungFu Tea, this fast-casual gem introduces New Yorkers to the rich tradition of Yasubee’s Tsukemen and Ramen. With a legacy spanning over 70 years and thriving in 80 locations across Japan, Yasubee Ramen has quickly become a local favorite since its Flushing debut last year. We tried their Miso Tsukemen , a standout dish featuring a tantalizing Miso dipping broth complemented by minced pork , menma, negi, eggs, cabbage, carrots and leeks. The noodles, served separately, boasts the perfect springiness, enhancing the overall texture of the dish .The broth , bursting with flavor , showcases Yasubee’s commitment to authentic taste.Beyond their signature Tsukemen and Ramen, they offers an array of small bites too. We ordered the vegi Onigiri , dumplings, chilled Tofu and we really enjoyed all of them.In summary, Yasubee Ramen is a must visit spot for those seeking an authentic and flavorful ramen experience.“
“The broth is a flavor symphony and the noodles are perfection. But their omurice is an absolute game-changer. The savory omelette over fluffy rice is a must-try alongside their ramen delights. Quick service, cozy vibes, and a menu that hits all the right notes.“
“What a cold night it was yesterday. My son and I had just finished watching a movie and we were hungry, so we decided on some ramen to warm us up.Everything we ordered was served quickly by some very nice ladies. My spicy tuna roll was delicious and my son enjoyed his takoyali very much. We both ordered Tonkotsu ramen. I always order miso ramen, so it was my first go with Tonkotsu. I liked it. As did my son. Wish I could compare it, so.I.could rate it higher.Atmosphere was nice. And everyone was very friendly.“
“Great sushi spot. It’s affordable and there’s so many food options not just sushi and sashimi but also LOTS OF entrees and appetizers. I had the red snapper sashimi, kani roll, vegetable udon, tonkatsu ramen, hamachi kama. Everything was good the sashimi was fresh and really good. Definitely worth it and will be coming back to try more things“
“I've been going to this place for months now (maybe a year) and there was something concerning for the 2 times that I went the 1st moment happened when I found a hair in my soup but coincidentally I had a haircut before hand so maybe it was my hair so I brushed it off. But the second time and this was recent 2 days ago Sunday on 01/14/2024 I was order 266 or 226 I ordered a Tonkatsu ramen and as I was nearing the end of me finishing I happen to find a hair once more. I didn't want to say anything. I didn't want to get reimbursed because normally, this never happens. So I'm just giving a heads up to be more careful serving the food. I wish I had taken a photo of it but I did happen to find a hair in my soup. Just be more careful“
“Lived in the area and passed by on many occasions seemed like a random mixed cuisine place that couldn't figure out that it wanted to be. Wanted ramen and Thai food and not happy with takeout in merrick/ east meadow / bellmore area so dropped in. What a pleasant surprise. Ramen was on point tasty and well prepared. Drunken noodles delicious and flavorful. Stand out was pineapple fried rice. Yum yum yum. All around a good addition to rotation“
“5 stars for takeout/delivery. I always order here through Grubhub and it gets delivered pretty fast. I usually order the Tonkatsu ramen and it never lets me down. The broth is always so flavorful and they don't skimp out on the ingredients such as corn. The pork is always tender and fresh. I have gotten their gyoza and enjoyed that as well. I would definitely recommend this spot to get your ramen fix!“
“A Delightful Discovery of Korean Cuisine in NYCI never knew Korean food could be this delicious! Our experience at Modoo restaurant was truly exceptional. The staff were amazing, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everywhere you looked, happy faces mirrored our own satisfaction. Without a doubt, it's the best food we've had in NYC. Highly highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed the food .“
“What can I say, this is the spot for ramen and delicious chicken bowls ?in the neighborhood! I I love coming here for a quick bite, the food is amazing, fresh and the servers are very kind! I was so happy to see the Inuyasha artwork in the back of the restaurant it really gave off the Japanese vibe!“
“New fav ramen place. Flavor is absolutely delicious, meat is tender, egg is well flavored but not overwhelming. Perfect balance & blend.Came on Saturday afternoon & was able to get a table. Place is cosy & food came fairly quick.“
“exceptional sushi, really fresh and tasty. no deals here and no lunch menu but other than that i can't find a fault with this place. sushi entre came with spicy tuna without the usual upcharge and that was a nice menu touch. definitely recommend.“
“The seating is so cool. The Thai tea was really good and came as part of my combo of omurice. The presentation and taste of the omurice was perfect. I haven’t had such good food in so long. The gyoza had cool presentation too since they were fried together and the popcorn chicken was juicy and well seasoned.Service was excellent and price was great for the food you get.100% going back next time I’m in town. I definitely recommend.I have to try the baos next.“
“Overall a nearly excellent burger in the Shake Shack style can be had here! There's about 20 different styles of burgers with creative combinations. We had the O'dada and double whammy burgers. Both were overall very good with fresh, high quality ingredients and an excellent brioche style roll. The main problem we had was the burgers were a bit too greasy and excessively juicy which kept us from giving a 5 star rating.. It was difficult eating these burgers without making a mess and the fatty juices were flowing out like a fountain. Despite this these are still probably the best burgers in Queens due to high quality ingredients and being very tasty. The service was quick and friendly! Recommended if you're in the area and you're craving a Shake Shack style burger.“
“Been searching for a Chinese food since moving back to newyork I’ve order from a few places and the experience was terrible food was subpar and had hair in it I came across this restaurant read a few reviews and was sold so I ordered online it came in less than 30mins fresh really hot and omg so good I’ve officially found my new spot I’m in love with the quality of food you guys sell to your customers trust me you will not regret ordering from here“
“I was craving some noodles one night very late and I did a quick search of late night Chinese or Japanese places and this came up. I had never heard of it so I decided to give it a try at around midnight, and boy was I upset that I had not found it sooner because this place is definitely a place you want to try. The sushi was delicious the noodles were equally delicious I did my order as take out but I'm looking forward to going and eating in this establishment.“
“When there for a quick lunch for two. Upon entering we realized we were the only guests in the restaurant. The staff was quick to see us and sat us down at a booth. The place is spacious and gives nautical vibes. Ordered two ramen combos which have the options of one ramen of choice and one appetizer for choice. I had the spicy ramen with soy chicken wings and my partner had ramen and buns. The food came at a decent time and was hot, service was good as well. The only small take back was the bathroom could use a little cleaning. Overall I would recommend this place and would go back to try the seafood options.“
