The açaí comes from a machine (like soft serve), which I feel gives a better consistency than some places that might blend it too thick or thin. Look, açaí bowls are expensive practically everywhere. Why not go somewhere like Oak Berry where you get UNLIMITED options?? So many great things to choose from here!

“I come here almost every week and I’m kind of obsessed with it. The decor is wildly eccentric — there’s an ice cream shop setup that never seems to be active, these indoor-patio-type structures, and a whole bar world in the back I’ve still never explored. You even pay at what looks like a candy-shop counter. It’s just fantastic.

It’s also almost always empty, which I truly don’t understand, because the food is great. The menu is mostly classic Mexican fare, but nearly every dish I’ve tried has some unique little twist that shows they’re really putting in the work.

I’ve gotten pretty enamored with this place. Highly recommend checking it out.“

Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

The food is always very good as well, and the staff are always courteous and relaxed, which usually means that it is run humanely from upper management. It is also nice to find a place to sit that is comfortable and roomy, unlike many of the nearby cafe' spaces, where you're practically shoulder to shoulder with people. A nice genuine spot.“

Today’s review features another local gem. Just like any other gem this spot is a hidden treasure. I haphazardly found Healthy Frenchy one day and it easily became one of my go-tos. Everything they serve is fresh and delightful, my two favorite combinations. I have tried many things on the menu and they have never ceased to amaze me. After two decades of being a loyal patron, I can confidently say that Juice Generation continues to set the gold standard for quality and service. While my last juice of the day wasn’t my favorite (a rare miss in 20 years!), I felt a little hesitant about saying something—but the manager, Adolfo, handled it with such professionalism and kindness that I was reminded why I absolutely love this place. The customer service here is consistently top-tier.

My yogi best friend still fondly remembers the field trip I took her on to Juice Generation—she raves about it to this day. We often daydream about opening a Juice Generation in her new home of Hawaii or in our shared hometown of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. (Trust me, the people there need this in their lives!)

If you haven’t tried Juice Generation yet, consider this your sign. Their smoothies are rich, refreshing, and never slimy like some of the imitators out there. The vegan muffins are absolutely delicious, and the salads? A bright, crisp little pick-me-up that never disappoints.

“I have been to several Herbalife locations in both Brooklyn and Queens but truthfully speaking this is the best one I have ever been to. They are super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I have gone there multiple times with friends, my daughter and even once with my puppy.

This place is always so clean and everything is well made. They have a lot to choose from when it comes to shakes, energy drinks and other small plates like protein waffles etc and prices are pretty good as well.

I typically order raspberry tea with apple fiber and a cookies n cream and vanilla shake combo. They are delicious and filling. I like to go here when I need a quiet place to work, think or have some me time away from the kids as well as something tasty and filling.

Michelle is my fav! Everyone is great there but I love Michelle because she's so kind, caring and helpful. I always appreciate her insight and conversation. I highly recommend this location. It's super close to the Myrtle Wyckoff train station across from the supermarket. Definitely worth checking out!“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now, and it continues to exceed my expectations every single visit. The service is always warm and welcoming, and everyone who works here is truly lovely. The food is consistently delicious and incredibly fresh you can really taste the quality.

The owner clearly hires the best people. I’ve always had such friendly interactions with the staff, and they make you feel genuinely at home. Belkyis, Stephanie and Jhulie are amazing, vibrant and humble women! I’ve even witnessed moments where customers were completely disrespectful, and the staff responded with nothing but professionalism and kindness. That speaks volumes about their character and people skills especially in this kind of environment.

As someone who used to work in the food industry, I understand how challenging it can be to work with the public, and I truly commend this team for how they handle themselves. They go above and beyond.

I would absolutely give this place more than five stars if I could. I do miss when they were open for dinner because their dinner menu was amazing, but everything they currently offer is fantastic from the smoothies to the açaí bowls, and especially the Brazilian cheese bread. It’s all a must-try.
