“Authentic Flavors and Warm Hospitality!
I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a place that serves real Greek cuisine with heart and care, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!“

“The food was ok. No AC in the restaurant and muggy outdoor eating made it hard. I asked for no tomatoes or olives in my salad and she brought me a full plate of tomatoes in my salad so I didn’t eat it as I never return food. The place needs a good cleaning.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“interior was. ute, service was great and the food was amazing. they actually live up to the hype and it has now easily become a fave restaurant of mine! the mackerel toast was top tier and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t eat mackerel like that.
we also enjoyed the black miso cod a lot. it was very soft and had a nice smokey flavor when you’re taking a bite. highly recommend ordering it.
the hiramasa was also a favorite. the flavor profile was 10/10 but i wish they gave more slices of fish cause 4 pieces feels like JAIL. minimum should be 6 imo
we got the chicken and their striped bass special as well and while those are good i think they’re not MUST orders though still very delicious. my top 3 would be mackerel toast, hiramasa and the black cod“

“Melissa and James create soul food with modern twist -- with big flavors! I visited P&C multiple times already, with family, friends and work colleagues and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to eat modern American with a lot of love. 🍷🍸🍹Their cocktails are equally amazing and delicious, they also have a fantastic wine selection and their freshly baked Pita is a MUST! Please do go and visit P&C to also support the local restaurant community -- they deserve it! 🥰🍾🥙“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
An absolute gem in New York! The flavors here are incredibly fresh and vibrant—every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The mezze are outstanding, and the Middle Eastern kebabs are perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of authentic spices. From the flavorful appetizers to the tender seafood and meats, everything truly captures the spirit of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and stylish without feeling pretentious, and the service is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Easily one of the best Mediterranean spots in the city—highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll be returning to.“

“This is gem of a restaurant in west harlem. Chicken with hummus is exceptional comes with huge tasty bread rating 4/5…,.,Lamb with rice is just okay 3/5..,,Potato veggies also 3/5
Adani chai 4/5.,,, black tea with cardamom and mint is good too.
Yemini rice is just okay, I believe Indian biryani is far superior!
Service is good here. For the high prices they charge surprise to see plastic plates and plastic utensils 😊
Fasha(spelling) is also one item our waiter recommended. Stew with meat, comes with huge bread.“

“I’m glad I got to try this restaurant. Located right next to the S train, Hart’s is a seafood, olive oil, simple menu focused eatery.
I appreciated the quality of the olive oil and the bread. The lamb burger was pretty damn good too. The tomato salad was one of the best I’ve had. A bit too pricey for the food and quantity, but hey, I’d come back again.“

“Hands down the best Persian restaurant in NYC. Forget Sofreh, you want real Persian food? Come to noosh. It’s a mom and pop shop with an amazing outdoor space, specialty cocktails and best part? Normal prices. Their Fasanjoon is out of this world. Literally the best I’ve had. Their sabzi is incredible, the Shiraz salad is as good as it gets with the freshest veggies and the koobideh kebab is amazing. What are you doing with your life if you haven’t been here?“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Came here for $40 bottomless brunch on a Sunday morning at around 11:30. It was a divine experience all around. Incredible food, great atmosphere, quick and attentive service. I ordered the Mediterranean breakfast and my friend got the Mediterranean breakfast pizza both of which were delicious and we would order again. The bottomless brunch comes with 1 entree included and unlimited choice of mimosas, beer, sangria, and Bellini and I think it’s a good bang for your buck. We each got four mimosas in the 90 minutes the brunch lasts. We can’t wait to go again.“

“Love this place so much. Love their Mexican food a lot the tacos, quesadillas, and burritos just name it. Everything here is a straight ten outta ten so far even though I haven’t tried the Mediterranean food yet such as shawarmas and what not. But once again their Mexican food is so good especially if you want 100% halal definitely come here at “Fatimas Grill”.“

“We had my daughter's 16 birthday at Dar in Greenpoint. It's a favorite takout spot for us (and occasional dine in spot). It was my girl's choice and it was an EXCELLENT one. The service is wonderful. Everyone was so sweet to us, and there were 18 of us! The food was not a disappointment- fresh, delicious and plentiful. Thank you for such a memorable evening!“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

“I had a great experience at Sea Salt. Our server, Ozzy, was friendly, attentive, and made excellent menu suggestions. The Lamb was cooked perfectly, and the appetizers were rich and flavorful. We ended with a delicious desert platter that Ozzy recommended.
Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, and the service from Ozzy made the anfternoon even better. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Miriam is a fantastic new addition to the Upper East Side! I’ve eaten here twice now—once for brunch and once for dinner—and both experiences were excellent. For brunch, we came with a group of five. For dinner, we shared the falafel, chicken cutlet, and hummus—all were delightful and generously portioned (we even took home half the chicken!). Both times we sat in the back room, which was cozy and inviting. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Miriam is just a quick walk from us, and I can already tell it will be one of our go-to spots.
*Delicious food

*Cozy and welcoming atmosphere
*Wonderful addition to the neighborhood
Highly recommend—can’t wait to go back again and again!“

“Tried Bosnian food for the first time—and wow, it was incredible. I came across a post from New York Turk on Instagram raving about this place, and he wasn’t wrong. It’s a cozy little mom-and-pop spot serving up some seriously delicious eats. I ordered the House Combo, which includes 5 pieces of Cevapi and 3 sausages, and it did not disappoint. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and when paired with the red sauce and warm pita, it made for an unforgettable sandwich. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and grab a bite—you won’t regret it.“

“I tried a few treats from Yummy Tummy’s Kitchen and everything was so fresh, delicious, and full of flavor! The cookie was soft and warm, the little pie was perfectly baked, and the cupcake was super moist with the creamiest frosting. You can taste the love in every bite.
What makes it even better is that this place is woman-owned, and the owner herself is the chef and baker behind all these amazing goodies. You can really feel her passion in the quality of the desserts.
The shop is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great for the quality.
Definitely one of my new favorite bakery spots — I’ll be back for sure! 💛🍪🧁✨“

“Amazing experience!! I go here RELIGIOUSLY, no other restaurant compares. I’ve tried other places but always come back to Taza. Their food is fresh, delicious and have a variety of options, not to mention with the best price. All the workers are super nice and are VERY generous with their servings, especially for the bowl. They truly care about their customers happiness. They closed for a few days for renovations and I swear I was having withdrawals. But 10/10, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

“Since I planned to be in the area for a few hours, I looked online for a decent place to have lunch nearby. I wanted healthy & tasty food and found that based on positive reviews, I decided to give Claire's Kitchen a try.
Well let me tell you, the atmosphere was cute & had a chill & boho vibe. It's small with limited seating. The time of day was around lunchtime so the majority of customers had their orders to go. A couple of them ordered their favorites which was a sign that Claire's Kitchen has repeat customers.
I had the beef empanadas with a side salad and a chocolate chip scone for dessert. The empanadas were not deep fried so their crust was nice & soft; something that I wasn't used to in an empanada. The beef filling was seasoned nicely- the spices gave it a nice kick to it.
The green salad was very fresh and organic. It included mixed greens, cherry tomatoes and red onion .
Last but not least I must say the chocolate chip scone was divine! It did not need butter. I ate it as if it was like a big ole chocolate chip cookie-the whole thing in one sitting! In the past I found the texture scones to be dry and boring. Not this one! It was really good and fun to eat. I would definitely buy this again. This was a great substitute for the gluten-free chocolate cake that she ran out of :/
So when you are in the mood for tasty and healthy food and you happen to be in the neighborhood ,stop by Claire's Kitchen and treat yourself to a meal made with love.“

“The Most Authentic Egyptian Food in NYC
If you’re looking for REAL Egyptian flavor, you have to try Falafel Bites in Brooklyn! I just went, and honestly… this is the closest taste to home I’ve had in the U.S. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with true Egyptian soul.
The falafel was perfectly crispy, the koshary tasted exactly like downtown Cairo, and the tahini sauce was on another level. The staff were so warm and welcoming, specially cherry it felt like visiting family.
I’m telling you — this is the best Egyptian restaurant in New York, hands down. If you want authentic Egyptian food that brings you back to the streets of Cairo and Alexandria, this is the place. Highly recommended! 🌟🇪🇬“
