“the vibe at IYKYK was nice... the food delish... drinks on point... varied music including latin beats which to my taste was awesome plus they have hookah (cash only but worth it)... honestly prices were pretty affordable and the service was really nice... our waitress Tiffany was attentive even though her section was busy when we first got there...our food and drinks didn't take long... I went with my cousin and we both had a blast... It was our first time going to IYKYK, and we're def planning on going back 💃🏼“

“Panzón in Greenpoint is such a delightful spot! I had the chance to sit outside, and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed, sunny meal. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and full of energy, making it a lovely place to enjoy food with friends or family.

The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the street corn, which was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the ideal combination of smoky, creamy, and tangy. For my main, I tried a few of the tacos, and each one was packed with fresh ingredients and bold, vibrant flavors. The balance of textures and seasonings in each taco made every bite a little celebration of authentic Mexican street food.

The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a comfortable dining experience that made the meal even more enjoyable. Sitting outside in the fresh air while enjoying such tasty dishes added an extra layer to the experience — it felt relaxed, fun, and unhurried.

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and had a great time. My friends and I went for happy hour (2x1), and the staff was incredibly friendly. They set aside a spot for us and were very kind. The drinks are awesome, and the space and atmosphere are great. I’ve also been here for comedy show nights, which are always a lot of fun. It’s very centrally located—perfect if your friends are spread all over the city.“

“I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

If you’re in Greenpoint and love oysters, this place is definitely worth checking out.“

Bar area is beautiful and the bartenders are very profesional and friendly. “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Forever ever nice to start. No controversy here. Refreshing. Can really feel yeast is well alive unlike sterilized canned beer.

Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.

Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.

The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.

“Drove an hour just to come here for Premier League Morning. The bar was packed, drinks were flowing and the staff was having a grand time with patrons. Ordered the fish and Chips and a Heineken, my buddy got the Full Irish Breakfast, some wings, and a couple beers. The Cod beer batter was fantastic, super crispy fish that melts in your mouth. The buffalo sauce on the wings was also tasty. Prices are great for cash customers as well. My only negative is that when the door keeps opening the place starts FREEZING especially at the bar area but quickly warms up again when closed. Honestly a gem of a sports bar.“
