“We loved this place, but they kinda forgot us for awhile so it took our food an hour to come out. Our server got our drinks and appetizer so fast, then he disappeared and someone else finally came and took our order and gave us water. But they were all very friendly and it was a very fun place with great food. Loved the garlic chicken and def get a side of maduros! So, so good. Chicken was fall apart tender and garlic sauce was outstanding. My boyfriend loved his meal tool, ground beef with an egg on it. Delicious mojito too! One caveat- it's VERY loud. We loved that, the live music was wonderful. But even before the music it was very loud music they played in the restaurant. It was fun, but be prepared for noise. Enjoy!“

“Victor s Cafe is by far one of the best restaurants in NYC. From the friendly staff to the oustanding food n drinks. Met with a few old n dear friends of mine. No better place to meet than one of my favorite restaurants. The waiters Darwin and Carlos (Charlie); were friendly , attentive, pleasant, efficient and so willing to make sure we had an excellent dining experience .Continuously checking on us and making sure all was well. The food was amazing; the drinks were phenomenal. We ordered a pitcher of both ; white and red Sangria. We were all pleased with the dishes we ordered. From Sea bass and Shrimp dishes; to Pernil(pork) and Ropa vieja (shredded beef). The flavor was on point and all the food was eaten. Empty plates from all 4parties. The chef Jose Luis was kind enough to come out to our table and we were able to personally thank him for a job well done. My friends will definitely be back to Victors Cafe. They will as well refer people they know to come and try some good food s ; whenever in NYC. A reservation is something I would suggest for it gets pretty crowded. The atmosphere / ambiance is wonderful and a place you would be happy to have been able to experience. I have been coming to Victor s cafe for years and truly it’s a place that doesn’t disappoint.Enjoy your visit there; an experience you will most certainly remember. Last but not least; order the sampler for appetizer. It will give you a taste and variety of different and delicious foods.“

“I got recommended this place by someone who has Cuban background, I figured, can't go wrong with it! I called in to pick up my order, the guy who answered my phone was very friendly and very welcoming when I arrived at the restaurant. I thought the price was on the higher side but the sandwich was so big that could serve 2 people and delicious! I'll definitely be back!!“

“Came here for brunch. It was mostly empty, but I kinda liked it that way. No loud music, just vibes lol. The food was ok. Portions were kinda small. I opted for the add on of the yucca fries. They were good but it was like 6 pieces. They were big, but left me wanting more. I didn't have it, but the bottomless brunch seemed like a good deal. The food was good, but I felt small portions and I left hungry. I feel like this would make a better happy hour spot. Plates feel smaller and the drinks were good. The bathroom while clean, smelled like urine. I was gonna give 3 stars but gave 4 because service was good.“

“We staying next door at the Muse and I walked the 20 steps to Margon to get a cafe con leche and tostada cubana. I was blown away. As born and raised Miamian, I can honestly tell you that the best cafe con leche is found at Margon in Manhattan. Hands down. And the ambiance reminds me of the old-school cafeterias and bakeries my grandfather and dad would take me to as a little girl. Keep doing what you’re doing .. loads of blessings and suerte, your way!“

“Had a perfect experience at Bstro 38. Food was tasty, full of flavor, well cooked, and great quality. The drinks were flawless, well balanced and strong without the alcohol being overpowering. The service was impeccable-- excellent restaurant service standards. Our server (Starling) was friendly, attentive, and checked with us in a good cadence. The staff worked really well together and created a great experience. The space was dimly lit. It was inviting, warm, and casual.“

“Birthday Dinner in NYC and I was so pleased. My and my Shuga bear stumbled on this place just walking around with grumbling tummies. Saw some folks leaving and they swore we'd love the food. Went in and the hostess greeted us so warmly and I shared it was my birthday and she made sure we got a seat without reservations. Seated promptly but wasted no time being served up a couple of Havana Hurricanes. Next I ordered the oxtail stew and my husband had the Mia Y Tierra (surf n turf). As the live Cuban music played in the background we were dancing in our booth and having a great time. These plates filled with deliciousness appeared before us and all you saw were forks flying back n forth in one another's plates. The oxtail stew had a sauce that was poured table-side and it was filled with flavor. I couldn't eat it all but that didn't stop me from trying. I can't even explain the house party that was happening on my tastebuds. My husband's dish was equally delicious with the chimmichurri on a perfectly cooked steak and shrimp full of flavor. Let's not forget the yellow rice and black beans that stood out all by themselves. Finally the party came where I was sung to and adorned with my own Panama Fedora. I will definitely be back for it all if even in NYC again.“

“Amor Cubano is a nice small place with tasty food, we walked in with no reservations it was a nice calm relaxing place to sit, eat, chat and enjoy some music. It wasn't that busy about 5 couples/friends we're all seated in different areas so it wasn't packed we ordered to eat el cubano, and 2 ropa veija, 2 pina mojitos and 1 passionfruit mojitos. They put a lot of leaves in the mojitos lol just a heads up. Food was delicious the green sauce amazing everything was yummy worth it but there was literally only 5 couples or friends in the entire place and they took so long to bring out our food and they kept forgetting our sides and we kept having to remind them, but it's cool it was worth the wait definitely recommend you to go ahead and try the food for sure will not disappoint.“

“From former owners of cafe Cortadito, Husband-Wife combo Patricia and Ricardo have returned with a truly remarkable restaurant in a tremendous location on the lower east side. There are no bad dishes here, but some standouts include the plantain chip guacamole, steak and eggs and the Cuban sandwich. This is my favorite restaurant in nyc !“

“Great place for entertainment, food was good. The drinks were sweet so you barley taste the alcohol, it was ok. Great customer service, the waitress was very nice in letting us stay until the band came since they was running late. Hopefully they expand into a bigger location for dancing space.“

“Chino Latino food, a delectable fusion of chinese with latino influence. I really liked the old school vibe, kinda retro from grandad days. Food is tasty and portions are large, so come here when you are hungry. Crispy chicken crackling, served with fried rice is a favourite and don’t forget to ask for the yummy green sauce. I travelled like halfway round the world to this place when i first spotted it on instagram.“

“I don't know enough about Cuban cuisine to stipulate to its authenticity, but all I know is that the Cubano sandwich is really good for what it is! The bread is perfect toasted - crunchy yet still soft. Generous amount of protein. Just the right amount of mustard. Don't understand the mediocre rating; They're so much better than Sophie's, which has only disappointed me“

“The most outstanding catering that I've ever ordered. You wouldn't think to go to a steakhouse for Rigatoni Bolognese and eggplant parmigiana but MAN! 354's version was next level. Every item that I ordered for my team was a 10 out of 10. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, but I'm telling you - the catering is where it's at! Great job 354. ??????????“

“My fiancé and I have been walking past this location for over a year and finally found the time to go in. Once we walked in and noticed that there seemed to be a lot of “regulars” that knew the staff, we knew were in a good place! The food and service is fantastic. Everything that we had was full of flavor and melted in your mouth. We started with the stuffed green plantains with shredded beef and then had the Lechon Asado con mojo criollo and Rib eye steak with a side of sweet plantains. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They were very appreciative of our compliments. The only thing we regret is not going in there sooner!side note: the skirt steak must be very good because 5/6 people next to us ordered it for their dinner!“

“Last night was my first night experience this restaurant and my FIRST encounter was phenomenal. My boyfriend and I came in around 8:30 , reservations were fast and timely. We sat at the bar area where the bartenders greeted us immediately. I had 2 margaritas and my boyfriend had 2 Kuba mules . I have never in my life tasted anything so fresh and delicious. For appetizers I had the fried pork and empanadas. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Our main courses were salmon and the shredded beef with rice and beans . The rice was soooooo soft and the beef was cooked to perfection . 10 stars ⭐️“

“My go to spot for Latino food in the area. One of the more expensive options in the area but it's worth treating yourself once in a while. Probably slightly more expensive than the higher quality halal carts out there. Spent $17 for my meal. As always, it's was cooked to perfection. Only complaint is that I wish I had some of the crispy skin from the pernil. All in all, great Cuban spot with plenty of options.“
“It's a small but charming little Cuban Cafe and Restaurant. Seating is limited to a cozy corner with a compact sofa and chairs. The coffee is delicious and Breakfast. The rest of the menu are fried delectable Latin meats like pork, fried plantain, longaniza etc... They also have options to order large trays, which is perfect for party's.“

“Came here for the first time on December 3, 2023, seeking Cuban bread. The restaurant has closed but a small bakery around the corner is still open for tostadas, empanadas, pastelitos, coffee, etc. It’s a shame that they have had to scale back but my cafe con leche and a buttered tostada was still top notch! Go support them!“

“There is a point to a bagel and breakfast shop and these guys nail it. The lady in a hat and pony tail taking orders works hard and fast no bs, food service is very quick, and the quality is excellent. I got a cinnamon bagel with PB&J and some boiled eggs, with coffee. Would definitely come back here.“

“Tina's Cuban Cuisine is a gem that offers an authentic Cuban food experience. Despite its humble and snug surroundings, the warmth of the atmosphere invites you in for a culinary adventure. The dishes are a vibrant celebration of flavors, with each plate beautifully presented and bursting with the zest and spice characteristic of Cuban cuisine. The ropa vieja shreds tenderly at the touch of a fork, and the tostones are delightfully crisp. Tina's may be modest in size, but it's grand in taste and spirit, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a genuine taste of Cuba.“
