Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“The Davenport Press in Mineola NY has been around for many years, and I just had the opportunity to go there for the very first time. I absolutely loved it. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

“I visited Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant last Friday all the way from New Jersey, and it was absolutely worth the drive! It was Fisherman’s Night at dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

The food tasted just like home — especially the kalamari fry, which was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fish peera was another standout — fresh, authentic, and cooked with just the right amount of tang and spice that brought back coastal Kerala memories.
