“Had a great dinner at LA420! The highlight was definitely the Tomahawk Steak. It was perfectly cooked, super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portion was generous and perfect for sharing. Definitely a must-try!

I also loved the Shiso Q cocktail! Super refreshing, well-balanced, and had a unique flavor that made it stand out. It paired really nicely with the steak. The restaurant has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for date night or hanging out with friends. Overall, such an enjoyable experience with delicious food and amazing drinks. “The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

A great experience ( the service was great) and delicious food ( steak sandwich SUPERBLY DELICIOUS and the chicken one on the second place! But when a dessert time comes it was from another planet!! The most tasty and amazingly delicious handmade vanilla bean ice cream (the one with coconut and some kind of liquor) was the cherry on top of the night. 100 % recommended restaurant“

“Came here for dinner with my mom, we were both craving burgers… we passed this place in the village just last week—it looked new, so we decided to give it a try. We both ordered the California burger. It was delicious! Full of flavor, cooked to perfection, they even give you sauce on the side. The fries were great too, perfectly seasoned. “We have loved dining at this unique, classy French restaurant in Forest Hills since ir opened, but our appreciation soared 10-fold after holding an 80th birthday party for 50 people on a gorgeous October afternoon. Rebecca provided superb oversight as tasty hors d’oeuvres were passed inside and outside on the tree-shaded couch-lined patio. Our six choices from a list of about 20 included shrimp and grits, pigs in blankets, tuna tartare, tiny bacon baked potatoes, tomato-mozzarella skewers, and mini tacos. Seating was very comfortable for our three-course dinner. Open bar and wine with dinner were included. We brought our own cake, but Tourmaline provided an ice cream sundae bar for the kids and youngs-at-heart. Yvan cooked the prime ribs, salmon and chicken Francese to perfection. The emails pouring in from our guests attest to what an exquisite party it was. We introduced a whole new crowd to our favorite spot!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, the curry goat was tender and flavorful, the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious, and the ackee and saltfish was authentic and well prepared. The Escovitch fish was outstanding, the rice and beans and spinach rice were cooked to perfection, the fried plantains were sweet and delicious, and the freshly steamed vegetables were the perfect complement to the meal.
