“We walked in and were immediately met with smiles and a greeting. The man that helped us was super nice in showing us their noodle soups. He ended up giving it to us on the house. If you go in you should definitely try their ramen noodle soup. Really nice experience on a cold day. Would come again!“

“They are under new ownership. They have plasma TVs with the menu on them and the menu boards are gone. There is a hot buffet and a cold buffet. I love the dumpling noodles and the crab legs. Their coffee is good and always fresh. Prices are reasonable and their fridges are stacked with all kinds of drinks. The people who work there are friendly. Genuinely friendly. Overall great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“This neighborhood deli is packed with character and options. I ordered a classic lox and scallion cream cheese—fresh, briny, and generously portioned. The scallion cream cheese had the perfect tang and herbal kick, complementing the lox beautifully. I also grabbed a cup of their Oreo pudding—rich, sweet, and creamy without being overly heavy. A nostalgic treat done right.

Service was friendly and warm—the staff took time to introduce different menu items and made the experience feel personal. Between the massive chalkboard menus, fresh baked goods, and deli staples, there’s clearly something for everyone.“

“The staff is incredibly kind here always. My mom and I came from NY and when we got here everything was sold out for pick up orders. The staff member asked us to wait while they did the math and saw if there was any leftover. He so kindly brought the bagels and spreads to our car and was INCREDIBLY generous. “We used Brooklyn Bagel to cater a brunch at our home. The smoked fish platter was beautiful, bagels were delicious and appropriately portioned and we loved the selection of cream cheeses. “I was in the area and was looking for a breakfast place. I'm so glad I found this spot. I've been to the area many times, but hadn't been to this spot.

The staff was friendly and helpful. There were other customers there, but the line moved very quickly. I ordered an iced coffee and a BLT; my order was prepared very quickly.

They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio with tables and chairs with a view.

They have a full deli, pastries, drinks and more. I'm glad I found this place. It quenched my hunger and was what I needed! I'll be back again the next time I'm in the area.“

Timing was not great as we got there after the kitchen grill was closed (won't make that mistake again). We were still able to have an egg salad sandwich, cream cheese bagel and a toasted blueberry bagel. Great variety of bagels and they are delish! They also do an impressive selection of sandwiches. Monday to Friday there is usually a line out the door, but the service is very efficient and the line moves quickly. There are only a couple of 2 seater tables available inside to sit down.

Parking: Sundays and holidays are free parking. Bronxville is notorious for parking tickets so double check to be sure.“

I had just a quick breakfast and mine was a bagel with CC and another one with butter.
One for later obviously but with a coffee add up only to $8.
Bagels were how old school type was crispy and chewy.
Just a regular cup of coffee tasted so good much better than trendy chais like Starbucks.

“Perfect location with a municipal parking lot next to the cafe. GCBC bagels are as close to the bagels I grew up eating in Forest Hills. They are soft but slightly chewy. Perfect texture! When I go early in the morning after they've taken them out of the oven, I don't even ask them to toast it. Sometimes I have to wait in line because they're busy but that's a good sign. There are regulars who come every morning and read newspapers while having their bagels. It's a neighborly place with excellent bagels.“

While I waited, there was a consistent line of what seemed to be regulars popping in to get their usual orders. The staff were efficient and courteous and got my order ready pretty quickly. I ordered a mini plain cream cheese bagel for myself to try out. I ended up eating the bagel on the way to the game. The cream cheese had partly melted on the bagel, which was toasty and delicious. I'm gonna go back and try a breakfast sandwich soon. This is a very small store, not tables to sit at, good choice of cream cheeses. They also had some good tea options that I could see on the back wall behind the counter.“

“Yes, they get my order wrong all the time, but it’s really the only place around here to get bagels and miscellaneous beverage options (other than Dunkin which is everywhere. Also, they open at 6. I wish they would open a little earlier. Sometimes they do. Also, the reviews that say the place could be cleaner need to travel more internationally. The place is clean compared to breakfast spots I frequented when I lived in Central/South America for 5 months!“

“My daughter and I came from North Jersey for treatment my dad is having locally and we decided to walk over to this restaurant based on the reviews online and the pictures. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The food was so good and tasted like Mamá’s home made food! It rocked so hard I had to video call my mom about it!! My daughter is super picky and I don’t eat out much because I prefer cooking my own meals but I didn’t have much choice with our pit stop being much longer than we anticipated. We did not regret it.

I had oxtails with rice beans and chicken and my daughter had malanga with eggs and fried cheese! Very well made. It tasted fresh because it was! Nothing reheated or just sitting there. If you are ever near here, make sure to make a pit stop here.

The natural juices were delicious. She had pineapple and I had maracuya!! Yes it tasted very sweet. BUT I also don’t add sugar to anything so anything with sugar will taste super sweet lol. We don’t have pictures because we basically devoured our food ??? but believe the hype!!

Kid-friendliness: The music is not super loud, but you do get a taste of musica Latina without it being overbearing. It isn’t a super big spot, but seating is enough for a small family. 2 small tables (2 seats each) and a barstool area with a street view (4 seats).

The prices are reasonable and the store stay clean when I'm up in the which is like every other day. I would have gave it five Stars but dude in there f'd up my order being in a rush and over toasted my hero and didn't put enough marinara sauce on the chicken or put my lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on it. I was tight! When they switch up the "cooks" it's the worse because the newbies are stingy with the fixings. Uuuuugggh! Having to get used to new people. It's the worse.
