“What a gem! My family recently decided to try to find another local sushi place instead of our regular spot and we are so happy we did. Just walking in was so warm and welcoming. This place is a real jewel box, decorated and styled so as you actually feel you are in Japan. Sandy, our host and server, was so nice and attentive. Chef Sung prepared some of the best sushi we have had in ages. The fish was exceptionally fresh and expertly prepared. We were really hankering for sushi that night so the only cooked things we ordered were shumai and eel but we are already looking forward to going back and trying more things.
I don't often know what to make of other reviewers takes as I do not know their palates. But I can tell you that we have had sushi everywhere from North Jersey/NYC, to SF, to Japan and IMHO this place was truly fantastic. The price was also right on point, not so cheap that you question the quality but not so expensive that it is out of reach. This is definitely our new spot!

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great — restaurant is nicely decorated and they were playing soft jazz music in the background. “So my boyfriend was looking for Japanese restaurants that have very good sushi to deliver from UberEats. We ordered at 7pm and the order finally came at 9pm. That’s pretty insane for a place to take that long and I know at times the uber eats driver will have other rides along the way but 2hrs is crazy when the restaurant is 17min drive from me. So the wait time was annoying but the sushi was good. What I didn’t like was that my vegetable gyozas came soft and warm. My sushi order came incorrect. I wanted 1 shrimp tempura and 1 sweet potato tempura. I got 2 orders of the shrimp tempura. Luckily it was good but since the food was a bit warm the crunchiness of the tempura was a bit gone. The sushi did taste good though! I definitely would like to dine in and try the food fresh because I hate being disappointed by food. Can’t wait to come in and try more of their dishes!“

Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. Ginger salad was decent, fried rice was mediocre.Unfortunately nothing impressed enough to have me want to come back but that’s as a non sushi eater so I leave 4 stars because this place seems highly rated by those who enjoy sushi and I don’t want to significantly impact their rating for something outside of their namesake.“

“Best Sushi in Yonkers. All the rolls are absolutely fresh and decadent. The quesadillas are excellent as well. A fun mix of Sushi & Mexican. A must go to if ever in Yonkers. I even dare say it is the best sushi in the Bronx. They are located less than 1/3 of a mile from the Bronx border and they deliver to the surrounding neighborhood in the Bronx.
