“Stopped by while in the area looking for a bite to eat and came across this restaurant. Noticed that the prices in the photos online were different from those in the restaurant, likely older pictures, but the prices overall are reasonable.

I ordered a small lomo, and it was well-seasoned with a generous portion. The lady at the counter was very friendly and attentive throughout my visit, which made for a great experience.

I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again! Also, just a heads up, the green sauce has a nice kick to it (which I personally loved).“

“Went here to eat for the first time after only having had one of their yummy alcoholic slushies at a Nyack Street Fair a while back. I really liked the atmosphere. I ate outside but went inside a few times and it had a nice simple laid-back vibe. I had the hanger steak sandwich with garlic-cilantro fries which was really yummy. My server was Bridgette, and she was really sweet and attentive yet also gave me plenty of time to enjoy my meal and after lunch cocktail. Speaking of which, Bridgette not only nailed the suggestion of the passion fruit margarita for my after meal treat, but as she was also bartending, made an absolutely delicious drink. I was having such a relaxing time I stayed for a second one. I was even complimented by a passerby on how "content" I looked. LOL! Will definitely be back to this unique and friendly spot!“

“This restaurant gets a FULL 10 out of 10, was here last night May 2, 2025 to celebrate my mom’s 86th Birthday dinner!! The STAFF SERVICE FOOD ATMOSPHERE was OVER & BEYOND!!! “Mistis in portchester is a no frills, immensely clean, and newly renovated Peruvian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious, and it comes out very quick. They give you nice warm dinner rolls right when you sit down l. My favorite is the llomo or Pollo Saltado. The best !“
