“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“The Wild Radish is such a great place to go in Nyack NY. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner from the Wild Radish - could eat there for every meal as it is healthy, organic food that makes eating clean easy.

I love the Clarity Smoothie (it is green) and the Broccoli Slaw and the Chicken Salad is a must try and the chefs bowl.

Everything is primarily gluten-free and dairy-free which is so nice. I love going to the restaurant on the main street with the cool atmosphere but I also have ordered delivery and I know Wild Radish is at a lot of the local westchester farmers markets.

I always crave the Wild Radish so it’s great that there is usually a way to get it delivered even when I’m not in Rockland County. They have a weekly food delivery service to the surrounding area including to Westchester area.

I used to live on Main Street in Nyack - this is my #1 spot in town highly recommend + the people/neighborhood is so great.5 Stars a must try.

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!“

“JADEN, our server, was very courteous, attentive and friendly. Today I enjoyed fried okra with a spicy chili sauce on the side. In addition I was treated to two large salmon cakes accompanied by grits with Gouda cheese.
My nephew described JADEN as a server who provided excellent service. The food he ordered was also excellent; whiting with grits, as well as, a side of six cheese Mac & cheese.
The take home orders for Mommy was collard greens, potato salad and yams.
I Have been to MY FATHER’S HOUSE many times for various celebrations and even for a night out with friends.

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

She is super adorable, very personable and well-mannered, always has a smile on her face, and always helps me out! “Husband and I finally dined here a little over a week ago for an early birthday dinner for me and the entire experience was nothing short of sublime. Although I was tempted by the views from the window-side tables, I wanted the Kitchen Table experience, and it was an excellent choice. We drove down from Dutchess County (fyi, whoever designed the Taconic Parkway should be fired, but I digress). The complimentary valet parking made our arrival easy. We were directed to the elevator and from the moment we got off on the floor of the restaurant, we were greeted immediately, and the entire staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and welcoming. The main dining areas are nicely decorated and subtly sophisticated. The chef’s table experience was phenomenal. We got very personal attention from the chef and staff members, and enjoyed watching (and inhaling the aromas from) both the main kitchen and pastry side during our meal. The service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Water and wine were poured promptly, the pacing of the courses was perfect, and the explanation for the dishes and wine were appreciated. We decided to get the wine pairing, and the pours were both generous and excellently paired with the courses. It was a lot of wine so by the 4th or 5th glass, I was really feeling it and enjoying myself, to say the least. The food was outstanding across the board. I love seafood so I was quite happy with the 7 fish offerings. We started out with 3 different breads, all different and all delicious, and I’m pretty sure I ate the roasted yeast butter on its own, and then uni and yellowtail, which are 2 of my favorites. It feels kind of dismissive to say “all of the courses were delicious,” but they really were. The black cod, iberico pork shoulder with fava been puree, and the prime dry aged rib eye were probably my favorite courses. I wish I had more room since the chef offered us additional rib eye, but I was pretty much at capacity and we still had dessert. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The iberico pork dish was crispy, salty, full of umami flavor, and it paired perfectly with the grassy, herbaceous, and silky fava bean puree. There was only one course that I wasn’t as enthusiastic about, the bacalhau a bras carmelle. Each course was so good that I couldn’t wait to see if the next would top it. Each course was a few bites, leading up to the larger beef at the end. Of the 3 dessert courses, the first 2 were my favorite. The first was “pear” which was a contrast of textures and temperatures. It was really outstanding and the cold bits in the dessert were a nice, light contrast to the heavy meal we had just finished. The next was a tart/cold dessert with sweet potato shavings and biscuit-like crackers (my dearest apologies to the pastry chef, I cannot describe it any better). It was all so different and worked well together. Again, the contrast in textures/temperature/flavors worked so well together. By the last dessert course, I was fairly stuffed and couldn’t finish. Again, there was a savory component (lettuce) that was (and I’m guessing here) caramelized so it was sweet and I ate both pieces. There was a custard as well and the crust was so flaky, and I was sorry that I couldn’t eat more of it. 3 ½ hours later, we waddled out quite satisfied and happy. Next time, we’d skip the wine pairing because it was simply too much but I can’t wait to visit here again and try new dishes. I don’t think I can accurately convey how delicious our food was or what a great time we had.“
