“I really enjoyed the food it was really amazing ?. The atmosphere was really great. The only thing that was a bit off was that it took an incredibly long amount of time for us to actually get our food. We got there at 6:15 and we didn't actually get our dinner until 8 and by that point I was beyond hungry because our party was so big the appetizers were not for a group that size. That being said the portion size of the food was HUGE! Definitely priced right ?. Everyone loved their food. Everyone had leftovers! I'm pretty sure if my friends made reservations EARLIER, possibly we would have had 2 waiters instead of just the one. If you have a big party, make reservations at least a week in advance. We were a party of 15 and they actually forgot one of my friends food and she sat there waiting for 5 minutes until they came over to put cheese on her ziti and she had no Ziti ?. They quickly recovered and got her a huge bowl of food but her meal was pretty simple, it didn't even have meat in it. The party of 15 I think was just too much. The other people dining looked like the service was pretty normal. Just ours too a while.“

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. “I used to eat here often because I worked in Katonah but after moving away and a gap of about 30 years, I went back to this place for a late lunch with my family. Wow did it deliver! The perfect weather didn't hurt as we ate in their cozy outdoor pavilion but the things under their control were also perfect: a very personable and knowledgeable waiter, plates served sizzling hot, some of the best pesto you'll ever taste, salmon done to a chef's kiss, a heaping bowl of risotto chicken, all followed by homemade chocolate mousse that I seriously don't think can ever be beat. You better believe I'll be back, and it won't be thirty years!!“

“Parking: We love Oscars and have been here a number of times. Each time introducing someone else to the delicious food and cocktails, friendly, profession service, relaxing atmosphere.
As for parking, we have been lucky every time to get a perfect spot. The restaurant is located with other business’ around it. We have dined, not at peak hours so we were fortunate to find a close spot each time.
Overall Oscars is our first choice of restaurants at only 8 miles from home. We will be returning often.“

The first time I walked in and the second time I called it in. I was very please with the phone order because the young man on the phone told me how much my order was if I was paying in cash or card (up charge for card). Salads came quickly and were good but it took a VERY long time to get our main course. My veal dish was very tasty but they skimped on the vegetables. Didn't have dessert because it took so long.“

“First time there. The food was good, the portions were large and the staff were very friendly and polite but with that being said, the service wasn't all that great. Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“

There prices recently for pasta went through the roof almost no difference between getting a pasta dish or a chicken dish. I would definitely lower the pasta prices, come on pasta is free.
