“We visited Roast & Co Café on a sunny afternoon while waiting for my daughter to finish work, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise.
The moment we stepped in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated and cozy the place is. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your coffee. The décor is charming and full of thoughtful details, it actually reminded us of the small Parisian brasseries in France, with its tasteful design and inviting energy.

The café offers both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor terrace. Since it was a gorgeous day, the terrace was full, so we decided to sit inside. The indoor space was lively but comfortable, filled with regulars chatting or working quietly on their laptops.
We ordered two cappuccinos, one regular and one made with unsweetened almond milk, which they had available. The coffees were prepared with care and attention to detail, and you could tell they use high-quality beans. The aroma alone was wonderful.

The barista behind the counter was friendly, cheerful, and clearly knew many of the customers by name. It gave the café a genuine neighborhood feel that’s hard to find.

We enjoyed sitting there, sipping our cappuccinos, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Even though we didn’t try the food this time, we took a look at the menu, there’s a great selection of light dishes, cookies, and pastries, and everything we saw being served looked fresh and delicious. You could tell people were enjoying their meals.
Before leaving, we had a nice chat with the owner, who was very friendly and clearly passionate about the place. It’s always nice to see a business where hospitality feels genuine and effortless.
Overall, Roast & Co Café is a delightful spot, beautifully designed, welcoming, and full of good energy.

“Fantastic atmosphere. The decor makes you feel you're in a different era. As for the food, this place should be on the Michelin list. The parpardelle ragu was perfect and the orrecchiete with saugage and broccoli was the best I've tasted. Five star place.“

“I’ve been coming to this location for over 5 years and I never decided to make a review. You are the only Mr wish I love going to out of all the locations. The drinks are always spot on. It’s a craving of mine all the time. My top two drinks are of course the Bubble Tea and The Apple Tea with Fresh Pulp. I go here so often the young man already knows my orders. They’re polite and very welcoming. We always enjoy coming here our whole family does. If it were up to me I’d be here every day it’s just so good and refreshing! We also recommend The Black Tiger Milk & The Peach Tea all these drinks in a large of course. The only thing I recommend from the Mr wish chain is to get into catering cause I’d have them for every event.

“Antidote was such a great spot to have dinner on my visit to NYC. The wait was not too long considering there were 7 people in my party. We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with. “Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “This is a review specifically about the Ikura don. I love ikura so was super happy to see that they have ikura don on the menu! I also got the chirashi don, which was great. But as for the ikura... why is it so sweet? The ikura is marinated in a very SWEET sauce.... that I could hardly taste the special taste of the ikura itself. I just wanted to let the management know that that marinade sauce for the ikura is WAY too sweet!! Please highlight the taste of the ikura itself. 🙏🙏🙏“

“Juqi was a nice dining experience. Most of the dishes when served were presented in a way to elevate one's dining experience. I was there for a birthday dinner and we were seated in a room. The table felt small at first but the waitstaff knew what to do that it never felt too crowded. Besides the food being good the waitstaff were consistent with changing plates and bringing the next course. Some of the dishes that stood out was the beef and tomato soup, the duck, the black rice that is set on fire (the aroma was pleasing where you're not sure what ingredients were put in) The soups were presented in a small ceramic bowl and tea lights were put underneath to keep it warm. This was a set menu and because there was a lot of food it was hard to keep track. Overall a good dinner out and a nice place for all group sizes to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice evening out.“

ever since then coming back here has become a tradition.
8 years on and the spot is still just as warm and welcoming, albeit way more busy which is incredible to see because the place deserves to thrive. easily my fav spot in the city (i fully blame the ricotta pancakes).
i haven’t been to nyc in years but coming back here today felt like coming home in so many ways.

I was craving a coquito latte to just indulge and sit with my feelings a little bit and I’m really happy I came by. The staff provided me with a special moment at just the right time that overwhelmed me emotionally in the sweetest way. I’ve been so disappointed with grocery stores for the past few years, even organic is tasteless or never reaches ripeness and with a baby, I do not have the time to go to farmers markets. I got my first order delivered today and I was so blown away by the quality and freshness of the produce. I could smell the strawberries almost from the next room, the nectarines were beautifully ripe and full of flavor. The cheese was delicious.

I can’t wait to try everything else I bought! This time was just a test order but I absolutely will be buying all of my produce and dairy from Farm to People from now on.
