From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — the location, ambiance, food, and service were all spectacular. I hope I’m spelling his name correctly, but Fasbiender was incredibly helpful and kind, as were the other servers who took great care of our party. Caitlyn, who helped us with the booking and made sure everything ran smoothly, was such a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and made the planning process completely seamless.

Both Fasbiender and Caitlyn are wonderful assets to the restaurant. Because of them, you’ve earned a returning customer — and several of our guests who live nearby mentioned they’ll be coming back too!

“Quaint little 8 table restaurant serving up some sizable and authentic mexican dishes. Doesn’t hurt it also offers a beautiful beach front view of Long Island sound.The cocktails are prepared well, appetizers fresh and if I must say, the carne asada is mind blowing good.I’ve been coming here for few years now and the friendly atmosphere makes it all worth while.It’s a bit out of the way, but trust me, they’re worth the trip.“

“I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

The bartender was very busy, but despite her being so she was very friendly and attentive. She had some really great recommendations. We very much enjoyed the lobster wontons and lobster roll.“

“I visited Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant last Friday all the way from New Jersey, and it was absolutely worth the drive! It was Fisherman’s Night at dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

The food tasted just like home — especially the kalamari fry, which was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fish peera was another standout — fresh, authentic, and cooked with just the right amount of tang and spice that brought back coastal Kerala memories.

The ambiance, the hospitality, and the traditional flavors made it a truly special evening. I could feel the love and effort in every dish. Thank you, Kuttanadan, for bringing a slice of Kerala to our plates!

“Overall, the food was excellent and left a great impression. The octopus and potato was delicious but could benefit from a little more salt or acidity to bring the flavors together. The mezze bowls were a highlight, with the bread standing out as particularly delicious. The branzino was cooked well. The citrus salad was fresh and good.

Service was a bit rushed, likely because they noticed we had a squirmy toddler with us. While we didn't mind this, I could see how it might be a bit off-putting in a more relaxed adult-only setting. One small improvement could be a clearer explanation of the dishes when they arrive at the table.

We didn't have dessert this time, although we did look over the menu. I noticed the after-dinner drinks were not listed on the desserts menu.

All in all, it was a very good dining experience for Westchester, and we’re looking forward to returning.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“My sister Inlaw alway order seafood for my mom for birthday ever year from this place and my mom always say the food is really good. So I decided to order this for my daughter birthday so I order the big popie with as 4 lobsters well what they did was cut 2 lobster in half and large shrimp and snow crab and potatoes and broccoli and corn in the special sauce. Well this was delicious my daughter love it and we also ordered snow crab with corn and broccoli and potatoes in the special sauce wish was all so delicious. I will definitely recommend this place. “Had a really good birthday dinner here. The menu had a mix of 'latin fusion' dishes, including Latin Sushi and classic Latin dishes from different countries (Cuban, Peruvian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican). It was a rainy Wednesday night so it wasn't crowded but the ambiance was still good with a mix of Latin and pop music playing in the background noticeable enough to hear if you wanted but not too loud to interfere with conversations. Service was good too. I plan on going again. We didn't get to eat on the patio because of the weather but looked like it would be really nice with good weather.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. “We arrived at Lisbon Cafe at 3:00 pm, atfter lunch hour rush and we had the luxury of dining al fresco. The staff were friendly, attentive and knew the details of the menu items.
We ordered three appetizers - Grilled Calamari, Bolinhos e bacalhau, Portuguese clams. The sauce of the clams was out of this world! We mopped them out with soft bread! The combination of clam and pork sausage was perfect! The grilled calamari paired well with peppers and tomatoes.

The cod cakes were melt in your mouth soft.

For main, we ordered Feijoada de Mariscos, Bacalhau a Lagareiro, and Chanfana Cabrito (Braised Goat). The meal was served with salads and rice. We ate everything with gusto and with delightful satisfaction!
