“We catered from Trini Bites for a brunch with friends to celebrate our recent wedding. Working with Renee was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, she was attentive and responsive. We knew we wanted to cater Trini food as my husband is Trini and I felt the stakes were high to make sure everything went well! And Renee delivered on every front.

The food was an absolute smash hit -- no tray was left untouched or unpolished, and we even sent folks home with to-go containers as they loved the food so much. Particular favorites were the stew chicken, the buss up shot, the mini doubles, and the curry chana and potatoes. Renee made sure that our dietary preferences were met, which was no small feat as we had vegetarians, vegans, kosher-observant (no shellfish), and halal-observant (no pork or pork byproducts) in attendance!

If you've ever been curious Trini food or simply want to serve something different for your party or gathering, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with Renee and Trini Bites at all.“

“I picked up food here for the first time and Auntie was so incredibly welcoming. She was happy to let me sample a handful of the dishes they were serving, all of which were delicious.

The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

“First time visited. The food, service and ambiance were great. They have roof top dining which is what we did and the customer service was amazing. My drink was delicious, the food came quick and was hot and music was good also. The only thing I didn’t like was the smoking because I’m not a smoker but I guess that’s what the roof is for. We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! “At Singh's roti shop the food is so good the the line sometimes is very long about the wait is worth it. I usually order doubles and potato channa roti. If you want to eat everything separately, you can have the roti skin separated from the channa. There are many servers so the line moves quickly. If you drive you have to pay the meters. “I arrived to the location recommended by a friend who’s considering this location as a b day rendezvous in the near future.

Parking: there’s parking available in a well lit parking lot directly behind the building. There are lights along the entire plaza outside. No major trash or debris. A small spot which still made us feel safe. There’s an entrance / exit there’s well as the front door. There’s parking directly on the main road. We saw a few spots available in the side streets which was a plus.

Business at 8 pm was busy and rustling. A few seats became available at the bar as the crowd rotated. We were promptly greeted by the bartender. We also made eye contact with a wait staff who also went behind the bar POS. The music was at a moderate volume featuring classic reggae sounds throughout the spot. The bar has about 12 seats. There’s are four tv displaying weekly pronouns and local sports. We ordered wings and fries. Both were bright crisp and hot. An indication that grease is rotated fresh. The panko batter for the wings was tasty.

The restroom is located at the back by the entrance. I did not have an opportunity to check this out. The dining room is bright white and modern. There’s a projector and a tv screen in the area. We are observed the climate control is fair with hot food in hot chafing dishes. There are windows which let light in at sunset.

We discussed future dinner plans with owner Jeff. He provided menu options for large parties. He has digital displays of food and menu plans which was impressive.

“I have been here quite a few times I love this little spot. However I finally gotten a bad waitress she lied about not having hot water to clean my silverware. I have stomach issues so I have to be extremely careful or ill have a terrible reaction. I instead used ice water and still had that terrible reaction I had to run out to puke was pouring sweat I was in between going to the er and trying to sleep off the pain I was in. I know next time to bring plastic wear or ask for a different waitress.“
