We absolutely love this place and it’s way better than any other restaurant that tried to fill this location by far! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s time before they are too busy to get you in!“

Danny's sauce recipe is printed on a flour sack in a frame on the wall (very close to Mom's) so those of us who cook can savor the taste at home. Everything our party of 4 ordered exceeded expectations and was served up by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The Veal Danny and eggplant in particular....so, so good. Chocolate cake with pistachio cream and a fine cup of coffee to end the meal....now that's perfection!“

Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's. “Great happy hour spot. Don't arrive during happy hour for a dinner table without a reservation on a weekend night. High tops are seated for dinner guests only when guests finally are done with the long happy hour.

Drink specials at happy hour are worth the trip but someone has to wait in line at the door at 4:30 for high top seating. Meeting people at happy hour is easy because seating is close and you can hear everyone's chatter.

Well staffed. Good service. Catering takeout is easy and consistent.

“Was finally able to get a reservation and the reputation is well deserved! The wait staff is fantastic and the owners are very friendly. A big key to great Italian restaurants is how well they do with the basics. The red sauce here is fantastic. Hard to find the right words to describe how wonderful it tastes. They are using the freshest, highest quality ingredients and it shows in their excellent meatballs. The sauces in the lobster pasta and veal pasta blew us away. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night after a table opened up last minute. If I didn't live three hours away I would be here regularly. Cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Ordered pick up and it was out to my car almost immediately despite being there early. Everything was well packed, generous portions, hot and fresh- breadsticks soft and warm. Food was delicious. Shrimp scampi, Pasta Fagioli Soup, Shrimp Carbonara, two large salads with all the fixings and a really great Raspberry lemonade. I shared with a friend - ate for dinner, lunch, and leftovers the next night. $50, 3 meals, 1 meal was for 2 people. I'd call that a win #happycamper“

“Pleasantly surprised! Stopped in for slices to go, never had pizza from Caputos. Delicious! The shop was busy, the staff greeted us and despite how busy they were, took the time to wait on us and were genuinely appreciative. Will definitely visit again!“

“The pizza is some of the best in the capital district if you like a bit thicker crust. The wings were pretty dry and I was not a big fan of the peanut butter and jelly wings flavor. I wish there was a better seating area because it's not close to residential areas and the pizza won't survive a 10+ min drive home without getting mushy.

“Honestly, I love this place. They are so close my house and the food is actually great. However, my order is almost always messed up. The first time they messed up my pizza order, we called and they did fix it which is great. Second time, they forgot a main ingredient on a sandwich. Didn't call, just let it go. Third time, ordered the same sandwich as before and again, main ingredient left off. I don't want to have to open my order and check it before we leave but I might have to start. I don't want to stop being a customer but quality check might be something worth implementing.

“I have been coming here for 25 years. My favorite is Antipasto and a Pepperoni Pizza, calzones. Always fresh, hot. Sometimes there is extra grease so make sure to have extra napkins. Owners are very nice and welcoming. There are a couple of booths to sit at. My order is always ready in 20 minutes. Always a good experience for me. Recommend.

Parking: The pizza shop is in a type of strip mall with a huge free parking lot. So plenty of spots.“

In this industry consistency is key, and every time their pizzas, salads and appetizers are always on point. I think their cheese pizza is arguably the best you can get in town. Considering the cost of food is rising, Pizzatime remains reasonably priced unlike their two nearby competitors. DO NOT order from Primo, or D'andreas if you are in Wilton and looking for takeout Italian food. Pizzatime ensures your order is correct, timely (typically ahead of time every time we order delivery!) and they go above and beyond to separate dressings/hot chicken from salads to ensure it doesn't get soggy and they provide adequate sauce on the side for things like their fried ravioli which the other two places do not. Every staff I have interacted with are professional, and pleasant and their delivery drivers are always kind and patient. Definitely recommend Pizzatime through and through!“

“worst experience ever. orderd a pizza i usually go too the one in burnt hills on my way to work. the night of July 2 2025 they lied stole and told me id recieve anything order after the first was an hour late. 30 minutes after that the ego trip manager yelled argued called names and never repaid after promised. blaming me for a worker he said worked there 4 years. it was sent by them not me I guess Uber. The girl lied the manager yelled telling me im a liar after my first order was an hour late and cold. Never refunded just called names.Id never order from a place who even considers treating a person the way they did. they just didt want to come back out or refund. He just yelled at was my fault after my hour late delivery was cold and said we dont go there as of now. we will not correct your order. burnt hills they treat you so well. like family. I have many pizza places near me I loved giving them business but never ballston spa. never again. he hung up as he was got caught in a lie. if you don't do delivery howd I get my first cold hour late one ? “Food here used to be good but has been slipping the last several times. What's so difficult about the 'crispy' part of a wing order or the 'extra hot' part of a Utica green order? Overpriced and definitely not worth it. Won't be coming back here for a very long time, hopefully things will have changed by then. Good thing they are closed on Sundays, maybe they should close a few more days too.“
