She suggested some delicious sauce to go with my sweet potatoes. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed playing pool. We definitely will plan for many more visits to Smokey Bones :)“

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“This is my second time coming to Craftsman and I can’t wait for number three. Last time I was with my father who doesn’t drink but we came in on a whim and sat at the bar for dinner. We had burgers, they were good, and I was very happy with the draft beer selection. Now I’m back, staying at the Craftsman Inn next door again but with a new group. Myself, my wife, my 2 year old, and 2 month old came in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated a few minutes earlier than our reservation and immediately greeted by our server. We fired a kids pizza for my big guy and it was out within 5 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they gave my big guy crayons which was a huge hit. The wife had the salmon, I ordered the steak flight, we shared a hot honey and pepperoni pizza while waiting for our main course. We’re from Long Island, we eat a lot of pizza, this thing was top notch. Main courses came, we were both extremely happy with our choices. The steak flight comes with 2 sides and I chose Brussel sprouts and the fingerling potatoes. The sprouts were unreal, the potatoes were good but I’d probably select something else next time. No complaints, just a preference. Drinks were and always are top notch, very happy!!!! Just wish it wasn’t 5 hours from home.“

“We had an issue recently with the take out service at Tullys in Fairmount which was a rare occurrence. The food is always consistent and service prompt. I felt it was important to share my experience with management as I knew it was not typical of this location. I was called by Allen the manager who had been a friendly face for years. He was very apologetic of the situation and appreciative of my feedback, he wanted to make it right and advised me to ask for him when we decided to dine in again. We went on a typical busy Friday night. We’ were greeted and almost immediately sat. Before our meals touched the table he came over to advise me that one of our meals was on him as a courtesy. Allen is an important part of the Tullys family and the Fairmount location. He is always friendly and cares that his customers leave satisfied. The food was nothing less than delicious, tenders and fries came out cooked perfectly and within 10 minutes of ordering. Great Job Allen and Fairmount Tullys team!“

“This place is a hidden gem in the center of Syracuse NY. The sauce for the mussels was extraordinary and well thought out! The glaze on the salmon was exquisite. The salmon was cooked ro perfection.

The atmosphere was quiet as it was a Wednesday. But very open and relaxing!

The service was interesting. Isabella was my waitress. A young college student who just finished at a local community college and said she was considering continuing her education in business finance. I see nothing but success in this young girls future! She is professional, and appears to have a solid work ethic as well!

If you are a local, give this place a try. And if you are traveling from out of town and staying in the hotel, you have a really good place to eat right downstairs!

“Got fried green tomatoes, pulled pork sandwich, and the turkey sandwich. Big portion sizes for a reasonable price and excellent quality. I always love a roadside BBQ joint; they make me feel like a character in a buddy cop movie. The only complaint I had was that I saw approximately zero lizards, limp or otherwise, and I was kinda hoping there'd be at least one.“

“What a find in the Double Tree Hotel in East Syracuse, NY! We stopped for the night in East Syracuse on our way to Boston. We arrived late into the city and were looking for a place for a late-night meal. We lucked out with the find of the Season Tavern inside the Double Tree Hotel.Our first choice was the Salt City Smashed Burger. The burger arrived large with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese on a Brioche Bun/Roll with fries. The burger was great and the presentation was very good.Our second choice was the Street-Style Fish Tacos. This treat arrived with Red Snapper, Napp slaw, Pico De Gallo, Cotija cheese, Chipotle Aioli, lime, and Cilantro. All of this was served on our choice of either flour or corn tortillas. We picked the flour tortillas. We had a choice of either a salad or chips as a side. We went with the salad. Just like the burger the tacos were great and the presentation was very good. We enjoyed our meals with glasses of wine which were appropriately priced.Once again, I wish Google would allow ½ stars. The Season Tavern is a solid 4 ½ stars. This was great bar food at a reasonable price. The service was over the top; thank you, Ms Kim! We don't travel this way much, but if we do, we will make sure we stop and dine at the Season Tavern. I was immediately charmed by the ambience– black shiny brick, big mirrors, and lots of green plants surrounded attractive seating– and hoped the food would measure up.

The pork chop was well-cooked and flavorful but even more delicious was the egg and fried rice that surrounded it. The presentation was lovely (see little flower!!!)

The bone marrow appetizer was delicious, assuming you enjoy Gorgonzola (I do)

The pasta’s size was shockingly generous, and it was creamy and flavorful. The Calabrian peppers definitely gave it a nice kick.

The Snicker’s cookie topped with ice cream was exactly what I wanted– straight-forward, simple, and nostalgic.

As for the drinks, I wasn’t drinking tonight but my friend ordered the [Not Your Mama’s] Amaretto Sour which featured an overproof rum and was absolutely insanely delicious. Would highly recommend.
