“We have frequented Augie’s since it first opened 15 years ago. We always found the food to be consistent and extremely good. When they changed the the menu recently, we were concerned that we might not like the change. Rest assured that our fears were unfounded. The prime rib and the short rib with risotto were absolutely delicious as usual. Also, the new additions to the menu were fabulous. Service continues to be excellent. If you haven’t been there, definitely give it a try!!!“

“I found this wonderful place because of my co-workers.. I’ve never had Shrimp tempura before and now I am HOOKKEDDDD.. I work in Mount Kisco and I live in Carmel and I drive alllll the way down here just for their sushi .. the atmosphere is so peaceful and inviting and tranquil.. the food is fresh.. the crunch just crunches if you catch my drift.. I’m currently drinking a dirty martini and eating shrimp tempura with extra crunch crust and their signature mango sauce and listen I ordered 2 because I’m taking this home.. if you’re in the area and haven’t come out here yet you’re missing out“

“Best new store in the Hudson Valley! Their fish is super fresh, super tasty. I’m addicted to making poke bowls since I’ve had their sushi-grade tuna. Unbelievably good! I also appreciate that I can preorder bread from Balthazar, which is a treat!“

“I had my daughter-in-law‘s shower here, and everybody still talks about it three years later! We had it in the restaurant part, as long as you have 50 people or more, you can have the Champagne Brunch. We had about 80! It was one of the best showers ever! UNLIMITED mimosas and champagne, and the buffet goes from breakfast foods, all the way into lunch foods! Everything imaginable from baked ziti, Penne vodka, fresh shrimp, eggplant parm, chicken parm, AND the owner/Chef himself was slicing up fresh Prime Rib!!! The service was impeccable! “This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. George and his team make it look easy though you can taste the effort and love the team puts into every meal. I highly recommend eating here. GO!“

“Second time at Coral. First went on Valentines Day with my husband and went tonight for Happy Hour and dinner. Our waiter was just great. He made great cocktails, and recommended things off the menu which were great. We will be back again. The food is delicious. Husband ordered scallops for dinner and I ordered fish and chips. I rrplaced the chips with broccoli rabe. We also ordered calamari and crab cakes for appet. Everything was so delicious. Had tiramisu for and it was delish. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.“

“I decided to get Wanna Empanada for my son's 4th birthday party instead of the go-to pizza. Wanna Empanada responded very quickly to me with a catering menu and were so easy to work with. We picked up the empanadas the night before since our party was on a Sunday. They provided instructions on how to reheat and packaged the empanadas so beautifully that we didn't even need to pull out serveware to display them. We ordered 7 different kinds for a total of 78 empanadas and every single one was delicious. We hosted 20 people at our place and were only left with 6 empanadas as leftovers. Our guests insisted on taking leftovers and could not stop eating them. Afterwards, I received texts from our guests telling me how delicious the empanadas were. The outside are the perfect thickness and perfectly crisp and they are STUFFED with filling. No skimping here. We will now be expected to serve empanadas at our gatherings instead of our usual pizza.“

“Consistently delicious food and terrific service! I've been here may times over the years, and never have I been disappointed. The owners have added on to include outdoor seating and a liquor license! They have a nice wine list though I can't comment on other offerings. The dining room is small and can be a bit noisy. Reservations are strongly encouraged and leave time to find parking on the street.“

“The steak is one of the best in the area, and best in Putnam county for sure. The salad that accompanied the meal was large and fresh. It appears that they re-heat the items that are served with the dinner, such as the twice baked potatoes and crab cake that was on the Char Steak Oscar, however the sauce was delicious. As for the atmosphere, it is great looking restaurant with a fantastic bar, but there is an unusual smell when you enter the restaurant.“

“I came here with mymom and son after a VERY long day filled with tubing, hiking and shopping. After eating things on the go all day, we were looking for a nice spot to sit and relax with a good meal. Fireside did not disappoint. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. We had the clam chowder amd calamari. The chowder was probably the best I have ever had, and I am very picky. It was so creamy amd fresh. The calamari was fried perfectly, not oily and paired well with their sauce. We had the chicken Fresca and 6 oz lobster tail with twice baked potatoes. Everything was delicious! We could not have been more happy that we chose this restaurant. To top it off, we asked my son what he wanted for dessert and he said he wished they had red velvet. This is one of his favorites but most restaurants never have it. To our surprise, when the waitress came over to tell us desserts that was the first on the list! Needless to say, my son was very happy. The cake was fantastic!!! We will be back and recommend anyone passing through or staying near by to make a stop here. You won't be disappointed!“

“Had a great dinner there last night. Robbie is an amazing host. Had the shrimp cocktail (with a couple of extras from Robbie because, hey, we're nice people ?). The swordfish was among the best I've had anywhere at any time. Cooked perfectly. The halibut was also flaky and delicious. Yeah, it's not 5 star decor for sure, but who cares. Just go for the fish! “Amazing food. Food was so good my wife enjoyed the leftovers and it tasted just as good as when it was served. The eggplant parm was delicious. We started with a caesar salad and it was truly amazing. We had about 13 of us who enjoyed a nice lunch after a hike, and they attended to us very well. There are seats facing the river which is even more beautiful. The menu is diverse and i actually enjoyed everything that i tried. The spinach mushroom gruyere pizza was really good. And, the bread they serve at the table is also amazing! Foccacia bread and we dipped it in olive oil. Lots of bangers at this place. A couple of guys got some orange beer that looked amazing. Highly recommend. It's cash only, which is a bit of an inconvenience, but the food was so good we were excited to pay them lol 10/10. The chef even came out to thank us. Amazing vibes all around, cant wait to bring my wife here next time! I somehow didnt get photos of the food because i was so hungry, but trust me you wont be disappointed! A+++“

“Wonderful steak dinner for my husband's 57th birthday. Food was delicious. Our waiter was charming and very funny. Atmosphere was quiet and beautiful as we had dinner at 4 p.m. when the restaurant just opened. I recommend Hudson Valley Steakhouse to ALL.“

“Over the last 20 years or so, there have been several restaurants that leased this location. A few pizza places, and now Exit 4. Although Exit 4 has tons and tons of food options, I find it wildly overpriced for what it is. There is always a long wait for food, and I just don't think the price is justified for a food hall. Despite that, the food is pretty good, and it's good for groups (if you're willing to wait and possibly all eat at different times because everyone's food will likely arrive at different points). Since groups of people tend to have different taste buds and preferences, a food hall like this is an excellent choice, as each person can get whatever type of food they want. The sushi, for example, is really fresh and a yummy option. All in all, not my first choice when I am looking for food in town, but not the last, either.“
