“My husband and I were at Broken Bow. I ordered at Ran & Gui's kitchen the last minute. So, I ordered whatever they had left which was the catfish bits, BBQ chicken wings, and chicken tenders. I have had catfish in the past which was flavorless. However, Ran & Gui's catfish bites was so flavorful that I didn't need the tartar sauce to enjoy them. My husband loved their chicken tenders and he mostly ate them without the honey mustard sauce. As far as the BBQ chicken wings, they were like regular BBQ chicken wings. We will definitely come back for the catfish and chicken tenders 😊.“

“I just recently found out about this gem of a place. If you’re looking for very good southern style food you found the right place. I’ve had the fried chicken, the smothered pork chops, the yams, and the mac & cheese. I also tried all the available desserts. Delicious. The workers were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, they are closed Sunday and Monday.“

“My friends and I went to the restaurant on a Wednesday rainy day I had the cinnamon raisin french toast with chicken and the fried shrimp it was very good the french toast is amazing. We also had the bottom less mimosas when I tell you they never let the glass hit the bottom. The service was excellent very positive and comfortable environment we sat for a while. we ate talked and danced and the staff continued to accommodate us beyond our reservation time limit. I will definitely visit Chocolat' again when in New York“

We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. I used to think given the location, the Tavern might be a tourist trap....but no way, this is a restaurant for New Yorkers that welcomes tourists too!“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. “Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because I ordered the cilantro marinated chicken breast with angel hair and the chicken was hard and dry and the pasta was mushy and completely bland and unseasoned.

My first time ordering from here and the food was really good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so good that I ordered dinner from there that same night. Both arrived hot and fresh. The only thing is that I thought the chicken sandwich came with salad (as pictured) but it came with fries. Either way everything was really good. They also have one of the best chai lattes I’ve tried in the city.“

“As a first-time tourist in United States I was amazed by this place. First of all, Emma is such a cute dog and there were lots of her pictures around! Secondly, the atmosphere gave me a real American experience. And finally the food was delicious - I’ve ordered an onion soup with fish and chips and my friends went for some salads and all of us were very pleased with the choice. Our waiter was a very funny and kind man, unfortunately we’ve only been passing through Westchester but next time I’ll make sure to come here again!“

“We didn't know what to expect and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. We were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday and I'm not from the area. The lamb lollipops were tender and perfectly cooked. We shared the cowboy ribeye which was very tender and flavorful. The sole provensal was also delicious and hot line a fish dish I have ever had.
