“The food here is excellent! I love when a chef has seasonal menus. We arrived the first night of their ‘Spring menu” and it was amazing. I had the crab cake appetizer and the scallops for my entree. The favorite thing I tried all night was the fried artichoke and calamari dish - omg a must try! My aunt had the cod for her entree which she loved. The portions are on the bigger side. The hostess, the staff, and Chef were all so friendly and welcoming!“

“My good friend and myself stumbled into Dolce Vita not too long ago when it was the only restaurant in Nyack that was opened very late. We struck gold. We have been back several times and the food, the service, the owner, the atmosphere are the very best . All are wonderful.“

“This will always be my favorite Thai restaurant. There is very limited seating and no bathroom, but the food is so good. I’d probably recommend getting delivery/take out for these reason - definitely don’t come with a BIG party because it’s so small inside.The mango sticky rice is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had and all of the dishes were great. My only suggestion is that the noodle dishes had a lot of meat, I would’ve preferred a more even ratio and noodles and meat. But the food here is amazing!“

“We have been coming here for years, and Jimmy and Andy always treat us like family! We drive from Orange County and are never disappointed. The sushi is amazing, among my favorites are the Mango Tango roll, Tiger roll, Tri Color roll and Tuna Amazing! The appetizers are small enough portions to try everything without waste!! It’s All You Can Eat, so easy to order more of what you like! But perfect sized appetizers so you don’t fill up before the sushi arrives! The sushi is always fresh and plentiful and the staff’s attention to details is unmatched. When the owners truly care about their customers, it shows and is appreciated! “Came in last week to try Haitian food for the first time. A coworker from Haiti recommended this restaurant specifically.I got the oxtail stew and it was amazing. Tender meat in a flavorful sauce. And it comes with a weeks worth of delicious rice and beans, Plantains and baked mac to boot.Stopped in today for the fried pork and it was the best food I've had in a long time. Love the spicy pikliz!The restaurant itself is small with a few tables but has an extremely warm welcoming feel. Staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever seen.“

“Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! Happy eating!Vegetarian options: Please read my review regarding the cooking of the vegetables. If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“

The owners have added on to include outdoor seating and a liquor license! They have a nice wine list though I can't comment on other offerings. The dining room is small and can be a bit noisy. They also have classic Korean dishes as well like bulgogi which was very well made (thinly sliced beef that's tender not tough).The sashimi roll was particularly unique and I also like the tricolor roll too with the tuna/salmon/tobiko on top in combination (forget the name of it).
