“This place is the best Chinese restaurant around! Been coming here since we moved to the area 15 years ago! Never disappointed, the owners are always so friendly and welcoming. I especially love their vegetable dumplings and sesame chicken! I love supporting a family owned small business.“

“1st time trying. I have tried MANY Chinese food restaurants around this area for over 12 yrs, and never have i been this satisfied! I ordered my usual... Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“

“I often order a steamed chicken n broccoli meal with (chicken) fried rice which comes with a pint of (chicken noodle or wonton) soup. They also grow their own string beans at home n offer them to change up my meal now n then. Nice folks.

“We were in Patchogue and my friend was craving General Tso's chicken. 2 people recommended this place so we went. Apparently, it's the only proper sit-down Chinese restaurant in the area (with wait service) so this really worked out nicely. Eason, was very professional, super attentive and polite and Lee was so kind as well, in accommodating us and explaining the menu, in addition to allowing for substitutions. For $7 extra, choice of soup, roast pork egg roll/spring roll/shrimp roll (not greasy at all!), and ice cream are included! The ambiance and food take you back to how it used to be back in the day. I agree with the other reviews, you can taste the love they put it into the food. Vivian, the young lady at the counter was so warm and friendly. “Hands down the BEST chinese/szechuan restaurant in Long Island. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Fish on spicy oil
- Shredded pig feet with peppers
- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers

Free rice and tea refills. Price is very reasonable. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended!“

The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly steamed—soft and pillowy with just a slight slipperiness that made it fun (and a little messy) to eat. The shrimp inside was tender and flavorful, cooked with sautéed onions and scallions in a savory sauce that soaked beautifully into the bun without being greasy or overpowering.
