“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food. The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Thick cut bacon, egg and cheese on a poppy roll with a yolk that bursts on the first bite. The perfect pick me up on a rainy nyc day. Iced latte pairs well with the crullers. Great to sit and catch up with friends over some daily provisions“

“Cafe Carmellini doesn’t serve dinner — it stages it. The space feels like if old New York and Paris had a perfectly dressed baby. Every detail is choreographed, but it never feels stiff.
Started with the zucchini flowers lobster and artichoke Provençal — light, layered, and borderline poetic. The duck, duck, duck tortellini? A playful name hiding serious precision — pure Carmellini flex.
Then the squab en cocotte landed like a mic drop — perfectly cooked, rich but composed, the kind of dish that makes you remember why New York is still the best food city on Earth.
Closed it out with the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate ganache — pure indulgence, no regrets.
Verdict: 9.6/10.
Cafe Carmellini is what happens when craftsmanship meets confidence. Every bite says, we know exactly what we’re doing.“

“It’s not easy finding a quick spot in New York that checks all the boxes—clean, high-quality food, warm service, and a cute vibe—but Daily Provisions nailed it.
We ordered the Caesar salad with salmon, and it was perfect. Think crispy chickpeas, a soft egg, kale, Parmesan, and a creamy anchovy dressing that actually tasted like anchovy—in the best way. The grilled cheese was buttery, golden, and exactly what you want it to be. Brussels sprouts were a great side, crisp and flavorful without being oily.
Shoutout to Atiana and the team for being so kind and welcoming. There’s indoor seating, and the space feels calm and modern without trying too hard. We’ll be back.“

“A charming gem in the West Village with that quintessential neighborhood feel. The team here was warm and engaging, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The intimate setup makes it great for a date or catching up with friends, and both the cocktails and wine list were excellent. What stood out most, though, was the creativity in the dishes, each one felt thoughtfully put together and seasonal. Recommend the black sea bass ceviche.“

“We happened to stumble upon this place while we were walking around and I’m so glad we did! We got sat in the covered patio area which was so cute. Our server, Gabriella, was very nice and attentive! A friend and I split the bruschetta and the carne lasagna flight-both were amazing! Probably some of the best food we had while in NY! Definitely will be back again!“

“The service was fantastic — easily the best waiter I’ve had in years! He never rushed us, even though we ordered slowly, and was incredibly kind and attentive. I wish I knew his name so I could give him proper recognition.
The ambiance and food were also excellent. I wasn’t personally a fan of the banana tiramisu, but I really appreciated the authenticity of all the dishes.“

The drinks were delicious and the creme brulee topped everything off. I plan to dine there everytime I visit NY. I would recommend to any and everyone.“

“We loved the food and the ambiance. Great girls night for a table of three. Shared a number of veggie forward plates and got the salmon and Neptune burger. Shrimp ceviche also incredible flavor. Very delicious health conscious eating out, without feeling like we were being overly healthy. Also, milk river cocktail - get it!“
