It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! It was truly amazing that I can get chicken,rice,fries(shocking for me) and veggie of choice for only $12 was so impressive. I’m definitely going back.“

No please, thank you and any type of politeness when taking an order or giving your meal. Unfortunately every employee was chatting with another co worker. Food took a very long time to come out. The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“This was my third time coming here, and they won me over as a customer over 7th street, burger head, and all the others.

Burgers here are great! Juicy, flavorful, gentle crisp on the patties. All ingredients are always fresh and delicious.

Fries are to match the burgers. They serve battered fries and a selection of seasonings. Always hot and crispy, never under a lamp.

What really made me write this review was the SERVICE!
You can order from the tablet if you’re antisocial like me, get your food and sit alone… but the staff here are more than happy to take your order.

Today I came in for lunch, decided to try the chai shake. They were out of straws.
Jada (or Jayda, sorry, wasn’t paying attention, busy day!) told me this when she gave me the shake and said “I took the whole shake off, sorry about that”

No straw, but I can totally get one somewhere else…. For the price of a shake, I can get 2 sodas.
This was a great recovery for something so small.
It made me think back on the days when I worked food service, and would think “eh, they’ll get a straw somewhere”

5 minutes later, Jada came back with a straw!
Somewhere close-by probably helped out, but it’s this level of SERVICE, that’s commendable.

To the owners and managers reading this, I really hope ms Jada gets a raise.

“I had the Fat Western Boy, and I can EASILY say it is in the Top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Like, eaaaaasily.

The burger was incredible, the mix with the patties, the taste, the cheese… The cheese was godly. I truly enjoyed it, like, a lot. I wish I had bought two of them, or three, or four.

The place is small, yes. Nevertheless you are having a burger. No need to be sitting and talking there for hours.

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“My favorite is the tofu bowl. Tofu is usually a hit or miss for me but this is one of the few places they do it soo well!! I've had the other bowls as well which are good too but the tofu is always the best.

The portions are too large for one person tho. While I've noticed them lowering portions sizes theyve been amping prices up which makes me sad cus this is truly a go to treat for me as a college student (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠). Maybe diff size bowls?

I ordered Chicken over Rice & let me tell you: chicken had such good flavor, the side salad had all the things(tomato, onion, pickle, jalapeño and lettuce), the French fries were deliciously crunchy and the rice was perfectly cooked. They also put a falafel on top- wasn't my favorite falafel but was a nice touch!
All of that and a soda can for only $12!!!!! And friendly, efficient service. Oh! The hot sauce is HOT!!!!! 🔥
